Nice area
House is very nice. Lots of rules but most easy to follow. Lake is very, very low, but still nice views and area has lots of hills and cliffs and ricks to climb. Sleeps a big group comfortably. Communication easy and prompt. Wifi limited but adequate for light usage and streaming. Enjoyed the local state parks, lots of good exploring and hiking. Limited restaurants but good grocery store in Burnet.

Memorial Day weekend

Hope to be back!
The property host was always super responsive and helpful leading up to and during our stay. We loved the house. It is beautiful and has a gorgeous view of the lake that takes your breathe away when you first walk in. The location is perfect too. We spent most of our time floating in the water, a stones throw from the house, or sitting on the back porch chatting. We didn’t turn on a TV the entire stay. We also utilized the proximity of the property to other hill country favorites, hiking up about an hour north to Colorado Bend state park for a morning hike to Gormon Falls and also grabbing BBQ at the famous Coopers BBQ in Llano, tx about 45 minutes west. We definitely hope to be back one day with more kids in tow to enjoy the water!

Lake House
We stayed here with extended family - 10 of us total with 4 kids (ages 1-3). The place was very clean and accommodated us all well. Beds were comfy and kitchen was nice for cooking some meals in. The lake views are gorgeous! All of the added kid/family stuff such as the pack and plays, high chair, and toys were a huge plus for our group. The older kids and adults had fun on the lake with the paddle boards and kayaks. Would recommend for any group!

The house is beautiful and spacious we all had a few battle wounds from the rocky area getting in the lake, so make sure to bring your water shoes. Also we brought a canopy for the dock, it helped alot! It was an awesome vacation!

We had a nice group this trip to Lake Buchanan. This home was perfect for us! Plenty of room for 8 adults (4 couples) 6 kiddos (7 months to 5 years old). It was a challenge to follow the septic rules of no toilet paper with the little ones, but we managed. Bring a pop up tent to hang out on the dock!

Property was very nice. Had a great view to enjoy coffee off the balcony. Wish the kayaks and Paddle boats came with the price of the stay since there is a 3 night minimum. There is a lot of additional cost to use the amenities. Overall good place to stay.

Easter Holiday Weekend
The property is very well kept and accommodated 11 of us very nicely. A deck spanning the width of the house is a great outdoor space overlooking the lake. The steps down to the dock require good balance and careful stepping. We used the kayaks and paddle boat. Swimming off the dock was great fun for all of us. The A/C went out on one hot night so we had to relocate 4 adults and 4 children downstairs.. Fortunately, we had brought an inflatable mattress and that was a big help. We enjoyed an Ester egg hunt on the morning of our departure and that wrapped up a fun holiday weekend for our family.

If your looking for a place to stay on the lake, this is it. Great location and the property has everything you need to enjoy your stay. We enjoyed the bbq pit on the porch overlooking the lake and watching the kids fish off the dock.

Modern lake home directly on Lake Buchanan with GREAT views!
We spent a month here in January 2022 to be close to family that we wanted an extended visit with and this home was everything we needed. Beautifully designed and kept, we had everything we needed for mini-milestone birthdays in the family, weekend visits and board game nights with cousins and siblings. The home is spacious and modern in design and was fit out with everything we needed to host our family meals. The best part was the views from the balcony of course - the sunrise and sunsets were different every day and the daily deer visits, cranes and swan stole the show. When the temps were cooler, the Nest thermostats were easy to use and kept the home warm and the gas fireplace was a cozy bonus for quieter nights. There are two balconies that span the width of the entire home overlooking the lake - on the main level you access it thru two separate sliders off the kitchen/living area - this was used daily and large enough for tables and outdoor eating and the hosts had a gas grill available; The 2nd balcony is on the lower level where the private suite is and is just as large - this was used to primarily store the life jackets and paddles, etc. We were fortunate enough to have mostly good weather in January and we had canoes we were able to take out and do a little fishing. The stairs going down to the dock are steep but there are railings and they are comfortably wide with benches and fire pit at one of the terraced areas. I worked remotely during this time and a Verizon hotspot kept my video calls going as this location in Burnet isn't serviced with high speed service just yet; AT&T cell service was a hit on the balcony corner only despite there being a cell tower close by. The closest grocery store was HEB and when we went out, we really enjoyed Torr Na Lochs vineyard for sunset views over the hill country and small bites, wine and their dark chocolate-pecan-toffee (you're welcome!). Our hosts were always responsive with suggestions and recommendations; We highly recommend the home , these hosts and hope to be back more often.

Beautiful Lake House
We spent Thanksgiving week here and it was absolutely breathtaking and tranquil. My parents are in their 70's and they loved the property. They stayed in the master bedroom to avoid stairs. My eleven year old and 18 year old boys loved fishing, using the paddleboat, and sitting around the firepit. The house had enough beds and bathrooms for 10 of us and enough areas inside and outside to give each other space. The host was extremely accommodating and had gifts, treats and ornaments for my son to decorate the tree. Burnet is a wonderful, quaint town and it was definitely memorable.

Great Lake views and access from the house to lake/doc. Plenty of room for our large group. Only minus for us was 2 out of 4 stove top burners were out, and the charcoal grill was very small. We like to cook a lot and so that was the only negative for our vacation time. Otherwise, it was great and we spent a ton of time on the water.

What a wonderful property in a terrific location on the lake! We had a great time at this beautiful home. Communication with host was great, but we did have a few glitches. First, the code given to us for access initially was wrong. The problem was easily resolved but took a few minutes while we stood outside waiting. Although owners were very responsive and accommodating, we had to ask for info that should have been provided to us: WiFi password and location of key for chest holding life vests. A few things you should know... there is no shower soap and no tissues. You cannot drink the water, although they provide water in a water dispenser. They have a septic system that requires you flush no toilet paper down the toilet. None of this ruined our enjoyment, but it could have been a bit more seamless and a little less trouble were a few details attended to more closely.

Gorgeous Getaway
This place is incredible! The views are absolutely breathtaking! My family and I had such a great time here. The house is VERY kid friendly as far as amenities goes (lots of toys, games, bluey on dvd!) but the main floor stairs did make for a little bit of trouble for the 1 year old (she loves climbing stairs). Each floor level has it’s own climate control! Big plus. There was plenty of space for everyone to be together and also have privacy when needed. We LOVED being able to fish right off the dock and also swim/sit/chill in the water right at the bottom of the steps. The steps! Be ready for an awesome workout going up and down those steps to get to the water. I personally loved it but my dad did not. Just something to consider when choosing this amazing house. It was well worth it for us to not have to leave the house to get to the water. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for our 4 families. It was really difficult to find a place with the right sleeping arrangements AND all the other must haves that were on our lists. This house checked every box (right on the water, kid friendly, no pets, at least 3 bathrooms, and the sleeping arrangements)

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The house was clean and fully stocked with all the amenities. The kiddos loved playing with the toys and games. Our family loved swimming off the dock. We were able to tie up our pontoon and jet ski with still lots of room to swim. Heather was very responsive and sweet throughout our stay. We hope to come back!

Amazing house in amazing location!
Just returned from celebrating my birthday with kids and grandkids. The house slept 10 of us very comfortably. It was very clean, had plenty of utensils, and loads of outdoor entertaining space. The dock and lake were great, and everyone loved swimming and fishing. Heather was great at keeping up with communication, and we will definitely be back!

We had an amazing week at this property. Great fishing and swimming off the dock. Good amount of space for the three families we had in our group. 6 kids and 5 adults. Could use some more hooks or towel racks for hanging towels inside and the lack of towels for the lake was disappointing since it is a lake house but we made it work. Three family stay
We stayed at this house with two other families with small children; one family on each floor. The kitchen set up is great as is the location with the living room and balcony. Our families were able to congregate and then go back to our spaces for rest. The balcony easily fit our three families with plenty of space leftover to grill. The roof overhang above the balcony even allowed us to grill in a heavy downpour. The view is fantastic and the rain clouds made for a stunning sunset. Heather was very responsive and provided very clear instructions for cleaning up when checking out. The property is well managed and pride of ownership shows. We would definitely like to visit again!

The property was beautiful, comfortable and serene. We were in the area for a wedding and it was a great place to relax between gatherings. There was plenty of beds and space for our party. The property manager was wonderful and quick to respond to my texts. The only thing I would have changed would be to have fishing poles available. We enjoy fishing any chance we get. We did purchase a pole but gave it to a family member to keep. Overall, I highly recommend this property for anyone who wants to unplug and enjoy lake life.

This is such a wonderful property. Courteous hosts, great location, family friendly amenities, beautiful elevated lake views, and close proximity to restaurants and activities. Our family was extremely pleased with the accommodations and the view. The house is situated in a cove which was serene and is positioned with an excellent view of the lake. The house is immaculate with modern interior finishes and has many big windows that give you the feeling of being outdoors even when indoors. We loved the outdoor fire pit and enjoyed making s’mores. There were numerous deer we enjoyed watching. The house had movies, games and toys to keep the family entertained. I would love to come back during the summer to kayak and fish off the boat dock. Beautiful lakeside getaway
What a beautiful home! Wonderful set-up for a relaxing weekend away. Loved being so close to the water. We hung out on the dock and near the firepit during the day, even though it was too cold for kayaking. There was a meteor shower that weekend and the views were amazing! Right near Longhorn Caverns and Inks Lake- two awesome state parks. The town of Burnet also had such a cute Christmas fair that evening. HEB is 13 minutes away, so we easily stocked up on our way in. Torr na Lochs winery was also a must-do!. We grilled outside on the deck, which provides incredible views of the lake. Overall, we had a great time and it had everything we needed :)
