'Absolutely loved staying at the retreat. Danny and Helen are extremely welcoming, nothing is too much trouble (even helped to fix my car) ((be careful reversing in and out of drive, can be quite tight)). Beautiful view to wake up to, beds very comfortable. Welcome pack extremely useful and offered fresh eggs daily from their chickens. Local walks are beautiful. 'The Mallard Cottage was comfortable throughout and cleanliness exceptional internet access was also excellent the view from our enclosed garden was wonderful the dog enjoyed his many walks around the orchard and adjoining field would highly recommend and hope to return again thank you Ruth and Andrew our friendly hosts'
