'Stayed for 3 nights at the Clayhanger Guest house. Friendly staff welcomed us when we arrive at the door. semi-private parking behind the building. Nice room with good beds. Ensuite bathroom with shower and small fridge was all we needed. Breakfast service was great. Good value for the price we payed. '

'Although the hotel would benefit from some updating it was really clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast and an evening meal plus bar drinks and it was extremely good value for money. The meals were all home cooked and delicious.'

'I booked two rooms as a last minute stay. Immediately on bookimg I had two phone calls that I missed as I was in my way to the accommodation. I then received a text message to tell me they could not accommodate my booking and to cancel. I was adviced by Expedia not to cancel as this would be against the cancellation policy - I am still trying to get a refund and will probably have to esculate the process'
