'Max and Ursula were excellent hosts who made me feel really welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was really comfortable and perfect for what I needed. The Sunflower Lodge was in a great location and within walking distance of the centre and less than a 10 minute walk to North Pier! I would definitely stay here again!'

'Prima service, snelle afhandeling van zaken. Het meest prettige was de aanwezigheid van twee eetgelegenheden, waardoor er afwisseling ontstond. Goede, ruime kamer met badkamer ensuite. Enige puntje van kritiek op de hygiëne was dat er veel kalkaanslag aan de douchekop zat, waardoor de straal niet heel goed was. Verder was alles goed schoon.'

'Rebecca is the best! Whatever you want/need she’s there! Had a problem with the bedside lamp - she fixed it, injured my knee, she fed me (not for free I hasten to add before scores of people want the same!). She cooked my breakfast and made sure I was made to feel VERY welcome. Sort of sorry to leave!'

The food - breakfast and dinner - is truly incredible with nothing too much trouble. The only downside we experienced really was that we were in a room on the top floor which, while the room had clearly been hoovered etc, it was dusty in places with lots of cobwebs - while we don't mind spiders, we removed...

The building is old but has been very well maintained. They also allow dogs on site but unlike other hotels in the area this is kept very clean.. we will definitely be staying again. The food and bar restaurant is very spacious and has a beret of lovely dishes and a good selection of alcohol '
