Paper Bark Cabin – Dunsborough

Well, this is a cute one. Paper Bark Cabin is a thoughtfully updated cottage set well back from the road on a big block, bordering the peaceful Marri Reserve and just a few minutes` walk from the heart of Dunsborough.

The beach is an easy 500m stroll away, so you really do get the best of everything, wander into town for your morning coffee, browse the shops, spend the day by the water, and stroll home after dinner at one of Dunsborough`s many restaurants and bars

The cabin takes its name from the lovely old paperbark trees in the front yard, which are lit up beautifully at night. The front garden is the spot to be, settle in at the outdoor dining setting or pull up a bench seat with a drink in hand and take it all in. Around the back you`ll find an enclosed rear garden with a nicely tucked-away outdoor shower, perfect for rinsing off after a day at the beach.

Inside, the cabin is cosy and inviting whatever the season, with air conditioning for warm summer days and a wood burner for those cosy winter nights. Downstairs you`ll find a fully equipped kitchen with induction cooktop, a dining table for six, and a comfortable living room with a smart TV. Plenty of thoughtful touches to make your stay as comfortable as possible - there’s even an ice-making machine.

The master bedroom with its king bed is also on this level, with easy access to the Jack and Jill bathroom (shower, vanity, WC), plus there is a full laundry with washing machine and dryer with an additional WC off it.

Upstairs are two more comfortable bedrooms, one with a queen, the other with a double and a single. The bedrooms are separated by a small lounge area with a second smart TV. It`s a lovely little retreat for the kids or a quiet spot to curl up with a book.

Please note: due to the staircase and exposed flue, we don`t recommend this home for toddlers.

Included in the cleaning fee - linen is provided and beds are made-up. Bath towels, hand towels and bath mats are also provided - please bring your own beach towels and face cloths.

This property is self-catering, however a starter pack of toilet paper, hand soaps, shower gel, dish washing liquid, sponge & bin bags, etc. is provided.

School Leavers: We do not accept any school leavers bookings at any time of the year.

We wish you an enjoyable vacation but we also ask for you to show consideration to the neighbours with respect to noise, especially after the hours of 10pm. Note that the owners’ elderly parents live closeby and there is a noise monitoring device.

Council regulations allow holiday homes to be rented for accommodation purposes only and not as a function venue e.g. for a party or wedding. Functions and gatherings are not permitted and, if evidenced will be closed down immediately.

Please be aware that noise complaints are a breach of our terms and conditions and will result in immediate eviction from the property without refund.
