'We had a very enjoyable stay in the cottage, which is a warm dry and very comfortable house. It was very clean. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped and we were pleased to find the fridge freezer in the utility room. The WiFi was good enough to stream Netflix etc. Excellent showers in the bathrooms. 'Wij troffen het huisje keurig netjes, schoon aan. Bedden waren opgemaakt. Uitzicht is geweldig. HEt enige wat niet lekker werkte was de douche in het bad. Wij vermoeden dat de waterdruk niet hoog genoeg was. Maar ja, er is nog een douche in het huisje dus daar douchen of anders lekker in bad ;-)'

'We stayed at Cockleshell Lodge for 10 days in November and had a fabulous time. The lodge is right on the waters edge and we would have paid for the view alone. It is absolutely stunning. There are dog walks straight from the lodge and no need to get the car ut all around the Ballimore Estate and we met the "Lady of the House" who told us some interesting facts about the estate. 'Views are beautiful, house is comfortable but a little tired. The location and peace and quiet are fabulous, nearest supermarket is 50 minutes drive so come prepared. Perhaps some comfy chairs outside to sit and enjoy the view.'
