Hotel was beautiful and certainly above the ‘stars’ given.
Bedrooms were massive and tastefully decorated. Breakfasts were amazing and plenty of it.
Some decor dated bit the staff certainly made up for any of that. .. Kind, professional, knowledgable, engaging abd with a sense of humour. …. Certainly a credit to Hotel.
Hotel has recently been modernised bit nit lost its Victorian charm.

Niets is te veel. Bovendien zijn de kamer en badkamer zeer netjes. Deze B&B ligt op wandelafstand van Keswick, wat zeer gemakkelijk is omdat de auto op de private parking kan blijven staan.'

'We had a lovely one night stay. We were warmly greeted and our room was spacious, up quite a few stairs so beware if you have heavy cases. We enjoyed a swim in the pool and used the hot tub. A well equipped gym was also available. The pool was very clean and a pleasant temperature. These facilities were all included in the room price but there is a limited timetable when you can use the pool due to lesson and member sessions.
We ate dinner at the hotel which was very tasty and well presented....

'Booked just one night as a last minute getaway. Stayed in the Penthouse which has a large blacony with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom great. The beams are low at the edges of the room but we are both tall and managed to avoid them :) I would highly recommend this place and will be staying here again in the future.'
