Acer Holiday Cottage Tideswell dorp Buxton Peak District 2 slaapkamers voor 4 personen

Prachtig ingerichte traditionele cottage met 2 slaapkamers in het hart van het dorp Tideswell. Het huisje werd volledig gerenoveerd in december 2019 uitgerust met nieuwe keuken en doucheruimte en ingericht met inbegrip van nieuw meubilair. Slapen tot 4 personen in 2 slaapkamers, een koning en een tweeling het huisje is ideaal voor koppels en kleine gezinnen.

Er zijn 2 toegewezen parkeerplaatsen aan de voorzijde van het huisje. Een mooie voortuin met kenmerk vijver leidt naar de voordeur.

De volledig uitgeruste woonkeuken is aan de voorzijde van het huisje met uitzicht op de voortuin. Je hebt alles wat je nodig hebt als je besluit om te dineren. Er is een grote opbergkast onder de trap in de hal, ideaal voor uw wandelschoenen en jassen.

Aan de achterzijde van het huisje is de lounge met 2 comfortabele lederen sofa's, een smart tv, gratis wifi en een gashaard voor de koudere wintermaanden. Een deur leidt naar de cottage-tuin aan de achterzijde. Er is ook zij-toegang tot de tuin. Ideaal om fietsen naar de tuin te brengen om op te slaan.

Boven 2 goed ingerichte slaapkamers. De hoofdslaapkamer aan de achterzijde met een kingsize bed en twee eenpersoonsbedden in de voorste slaapkamer. Er is voldoende kastruimte en laden. Beide slaapkamers hebben beddengoed en handdoeken voor uw verblijf. De nieuw ingerichte doucheruimte beschikt over een inloopdouche, grote wastafel en wastafel en toilet. Let op: er is geen bad.

Wij bieden u een paar essentiële items voor de start van uw verblijf, waaronder:
Badkamer - toiletrollen, hand- en lichaamswas
Keuken - thee, koffie, suiker, zout, peper, olijfolie, theedoeken, doeken, afwasmiddel, oppervlaktespray, handwas, wasmachine-pads, keukenrol, huishoudfolie, folie.

Baby's - er is een reiswieg en matras, babybadje, traphekje en kinderstoel beschikbaar. We bieden geen beddengoed voor het reisbedje.

In het dorp vindt u een aantal winkels, waaronder een kleine Co-Op ideaal voor het inslaan. Er zijn cafés, restaurants, pubs, coffeeshops en een aantal mooie onafhankelijke winkels die lokale producten verkopen. Allemaal binnen een paar minuten lopen.

Sleutels worden opgeslagen in een sleutelkluis zodat u gemakkelijk op uw gemak kunt inchecken. Onze check-in tijd is na zestien en check-out voor 10 uur.

Excellent location for exploring the local area by walking and by car., only points against garden needs a bit of attention and no milk an arrival but Coop is only couple of minutes away in nice village. Tindalls bakery worth a visiting.

Acer Cottage is ideally situated for exploring the area. Tideswell is peaceful yet very well served with essential services. It was a treat to find the Merchant’s Yard just steps away and the bakery was great too. The cottage itself was equipped and furnished to a high level and communication before arrival was excellent.

Overall a lovely property in a great location. Points to think of - garden is small & no grassy area for dogs. Stairs need a second rail as one area cannot be held onto. Lounge has a fire that you can't use - why? Replace it with one that you can ? Torch would be useful First aid kit needed In house instruction manual with local info would have been great? Rugs all need a good clean. Well stocked property in a lovely village. Just a couple of things that we thought of.

Fantastic trip with family. Lots of walking and days out. Tideswell is lovely. Lots of pubs, a cafe and a couple of restaurants.Also a Coop in village and a couple of fish and chip shops. House is ideally placed. Easy parking and everything you need in cottage. Would love to go back.

We stayed for a couple of nights to walk Kinder Scout (20 min drive away). Perfect location in Tideswell. Local shops literally two ins away and two fantastic places to eat.. George Inn, pub food and Merchants Yard, restaurant..both excellent and very friendly. The house is set back off main road and very peaceful, easy parking and easy to find. Lovely comfy front room, good kitchen and excellent bedrooms and bathroom. Cannot fault this place and hope to return in future. Cery was great with communication as host. Small outside garden with nice view as well.. al in all perfect place to stay Peak District

We had a wonderful stay, Cary was excellent in terms of communication, the place was a great base for exploring the Peak District. We loved everything about the cottage, amenities, gardens, location...would stay again if we ever go back to this area.

Thanks for a lovely stay in Acer Cottage in Tideswell. The cottage was large enough to feel spacious for a family of 3 adults and 1 young person. Everything was modern and clean inside, and unlike previous holiday cottages, all the kitchen utensils we might need were provided (except we could have used an extra large saucepan). Garden was pretty with a table for eating out, and looking out onto playing fields. Good location for spending time in the peak district national park.

Tideswell is perfectly positioned for a week in the Peak District. Most of the sites are about 30-40 mins drive away. The house is perfectly proportioned and excellently provisioned. This is our second year of using it as a base for walking and sightseeing and I can predict we shall be using it again..

Ideal property and location for our needs. Very nice and comfortable with sun on the back garden for a morning coffee in the sun. No wardrobe in the main bedroom to hang clothes but the twin bedroom has a large wardrobe so no issue. You have your own allocated parking spot so no issue parking which can difficult in these villages. The village is lovely and located close to Buxton, and some nice walks like Mam Tor. Overall very nice.

Not only was the cottage well decorated, warm (we visited in November), comfortable, quiet and had everything we needed, it was located in the beautiful village of Tideswell with cafes, pubs and local shops in the heart of the Peak District. We would definitely stay there again. The village's ingenious phone box is worth a visit with recordings of locals recalling their lives in Tideswell.

Acer cottage is a lovely cottage with everything you need for a break in the Peaks. We spent most of our days out and about hiking but was lovely to come back in the evening and be able to cook and eat in a decent size kitchen area and then chill playing games with the kids in a spacious lounge. We sat outside in the back garden one evening to enjoy lovely fish and chips from the local chip shop Elliotts, with a nice glass of wine. The garden is a little cottage garden area with lots of wild flowers/shrubs but if you have kids the garden backs on to a large field with a football net so they still have a lovely area to play. This is the perfect location to stay to access all of the Peaks as it is central, journeys to most places only being between 15 minutes to 30 min by car. Parking is great as there are 2 spaces right outside the cottage. I will definitely return and stay here when we come again. Communication from Cary the owner was fabulous both before and on the day with the key codes and instructions etc...Thank you for a lovely stay in the Peak District and making our week there enjoyable and relaxing in your home.

What is very important, the Acer Holiday Cottage is as described on website. It is in quiet, but central location of the village. And the village is nicely located in centre of the Peak District. It's not too big, but warm with good heating system. One room has a double bed and another two singles, what makes it a very good fit for a family of 4. The property was clean. We spent 3 nice nights in the house. However, it had a few drawbacks. The kitchen does not have a dishwasher. It's in property description, so no complaint here. However, during the stay we noticed that it's important. The mattresses were too "soft" for us. There were too many unnecessary "things", especially fake plants, in the house. The bathroom is really nice with modern equipment, but the water tap is a bit "too fancy". Finally, we would like to see hanger for wet towels, too. In summary, 4 and half stars.
