'If you wanna go to byron area and not feel like ur confined or leaving broke from just staying somewhere value for everything, this is the best place for everything.....was impressed with the cabin felt very comfortable from bed, couch and just the space with all facilities in there. Even though i had double bunks in loungeroom and was staying by myself i actually found em to be useful sorting all gifts and stuff i took up there....'

'Na een aantal hotels in Australië eens een caravan op een park geprobeerd. Uitstekend bevallen de caravan was van alle gemakken voorzien. Voor ons was het grote voordeel dat we zelf onze maaltijden konden bereiden in de compleet ingerichte keuken. Na weken achter elkaar uit eten een welkome afwisseling. De camping is rustig de zee aan de overkant en we hadden wifi bereik on de caravan. Kortom zeker aan te raden als alternatief voor een hitel/ motel niet alleen uit kosten overweging'

'Our 2 bedroom apartment on 1st floor was clean, well maintained and had a nice big spa bath. Nespresso coffee machine with plenty of capsules provided. Some noise at night, as this is in the centre of Ballina. '

'The breakfast at the Hotel was magnificent, a great choice of cold buffet food. The Hotel is a beautiful old colonial building restored to a high standard. There was quiet AC in the rooms and comfortable, beds we slept well. Pool area with loungers and sun umbrellas was well maintained . The staff could've be more pleasant or helpful. '

'Very clean and modern room with excellent amenities. Complimentary continental breakfast was supplied with cereal, English muffins, fruit and juice and coffee. Great views from the room and all round a very nice place. Not really close to shopping or restaurants but only 5 minutes drive if required. I would definitely recommend it.'

'The rooms were great. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable, staff were incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. The shower also had amazing pressure. I loved that the town centre was only a few streets away. We stayed at another hotel after Avlon Gardens with a higher star rating and Avlon put it to shame. I highly recommend Avlon to anyone travelling to Ballina.'
