'Full apartment with amenities, beautiful entrance, garden and view. Staff was friendly and always available.'

'It’s a beautiful place in the mountain of monte verde, it’s easy to find the place, it’s a beautiful, cozy apartment with everything in it! It has washer and dryer that was a big plus, everything is close by, hope to stay there in the future'

'Fantastic property. Every little detail has been thought of. The location is great, interior or spacious and well laid out, even the lighting is really well done! Then you find the balcony that overlooks the most beautiful scenery. Highly recommended and our only regret was not staying longer.'

'A spotless, very comfortable studio equipped with modern appliances with which to make your own meals. Food stores, restaurants, and even nature reserves nearby. A friendly, knowledgeable proprietor who will help you enjoy the area. Great views of sunsets over the Gulf of Nicoya. Made our trip a joy.'

'Marianne (zelf ook Nederlands van oorsprong) heeft ons zeer gastvrij verwelkomt. We waren blij verrast met ons verblijf. Behoorlijk ruim, grote bedden, complete keuken, nette badkamer, heerlijke douche!

'Great place to stay for a short visit. Very clean and cozy. Short walk to restaurants and store.'

'C’est un hébergement typiquement costaricain C’est sobre mais très propre. Des recommandations ont été faites à l’hôte qui verra à bonifier les lieux. Gérard est un hôte fabuleux très disponible et même nous a offert de voir une maman paresseux à proximité. Ça été notre plus belle observation de paresseux car la mère s’est déplacée d’une branche à l’autre avec son bébé sur le ventre. Gérard nous a donné de son temps. Il ne faut pas oublier les fabuleux et généreux déjeuners préparés par sa...

'Simple place to stay. Had a washer/dryer which was a plus for me.'

'Adan and Marianne were perfect hosts and far exceeded our expectations. Communication and check-in were easy and they even called to help us navigate a GPS error (on our part) on our way there. Property was clean and their flowers were beautiful. They gave us fresh fruit and pastries in the morning. Our 2 young kids quickly took to Adan and Marianne, plus their two adorable dogs. Our kids loved checking out the birds on the property with them, and they were gracious to lend us binoculars and...

'Great quiet Costa Rican-style cabin on a nice, secluded property close to everything.'

'I reserved this place and received automatic confirmation. I did not get any other messages from the host. The location was incorrect on the map, we could not find it. It would not have mattered though, as we were given no instructions to get into the apartment. We tried to call and message the host, but no response. VRBO also tried to contact the host but could not. We got a refund, but it was late and we had a very difficult time finding another place to stay. I hope it was just a...

'Not at all what we reserved here on expedia, not even the same place, no views of the volcano. We paid for a little apartment with a king bed and parking and we got a double bed with no parking. The street was hard to park on, there wasn’t any place. It was clean and comfortable, the people were nice and welcoming, but it wasn’t what we paid for.'

'Our stay in La Fortuna was truly magical. The unit was impeccably clean and well-maintained, and everything was perfectly prepared for our late-night arrival. After long days of zip-lining, hiking, and exploring waterfalls, the hot tub was the perfect way to relax and unwind. The afternoon rain showers gave my boys and me the chance to enjoy the movie theater and watch some of our favorite films together from the comfort of bed. One of the biggest conveniences for our family was having access to...
