Great location, love the view of ocean from the condo. Cabo Bello is a lovely area, condo grounds are very well maintained. Renting a car is a must for this property. It is a hike to the beach, we did know this, many stairs and dirt path, but what a beautiful quite beach! Condo kitchen is well stocked. There are beach chairs/umbrellas, fins and coolers. Downside is there is a sewage smell coming from one of the bathrooms. We kept the door closed into the bathroom. Overall rating would be a 5, but took a star away because of the sewage smell. We will be back...thank you

Beautiful views and scenic courtyards
This was our second time staying at the Plaza Calafia condos. The grounds are always very clean and well manicured and cared for. Management is always available by phone and the private beach is beautiful. Definitely will return!

Overall the unit was great! The kitchen well stocked. Only concern was the dishwasher was “filthy “!! We did a thorough cleaning of it ran a vinegar wash and then fine. With 4 adults, it would have been nice to have 4 deck chairs. Would certainly stay again.

Great location, some disappointment
This place is located in the perfect community. Walking distance to a snorkeling friendly beach and a family pool, it's pretty great! I was, however, disappointed that no one reached out to me with check-in directions even on the day of check-in. The address was withheld from me, even on the day of check-in. Finally at 6pm I wrote the host and was given the welcome packet. I have been a host myself. These vacation rental platforms allow you to easily schedule automated messages for stuff like this. A guest shouldn't have to reach out, they should feel welcomed. No apology was given. Karen has a property manager, and it seems that she would rather not be bothered by guests. Her property mgr insists on showing you into the place, which I do understand there are things to explain. It would've been great to have the option to do it in the morning, instead of when we were tired at night. Lastly, the first bathroom smells so awful like sewage, we couldn't even use it without holding our breath. We ended up just keeping it closed off for the duration of our stay.

A great place for families!
We have six year old twins & this property was ideal for our family! We loved the pool because our kids could touch the ground the whole time (important for those learning & good for parental anxiety) and we often had it to ourselves! We had low expectations for the beach within walking distance and loved it. The kids could boogie board and the parents could swim. It felt safe and secure. The condo itself was incredibly well stoked with everything you could need and we enjoyed the convenience of laundry IN the condo which seems unconventional. The only thing that could have been improved are the showers but it was fine because the rest of it was wonderful - also Francisco, the property manager is great.

Birthday Celebration!
The condo was wonderful...just as expected & pictured & didn't disappoint! The view & gardens were spectacular...pool area very enjoyable. Kitchen loaded with everything & more for entertaining. Having a washer/dryer was also a plus. Got use to the 10 min. hike up to the great Fresko store for groceries. The beach was lovely, but also another hike loaded with gear. Felt a little isolated, but still a great stay. Town via uber was 10 mins. A few things of concern. The showers need a little update and several times, usually around dinner time, there was a strong, offensive seweage odor. There was also no propane available for the barbeque. Other than that, I would recommend this condo & stay, again.

The unit was lovely and quiet, exactly what we were looking for. Well stocked kitchen with nice dishes and cooking ware. The walk to the beach was much longer than described due to construction around the property. There was also rather unpleasant smell in the apartment apparently coming from the shower and sink drainage. Everything else was great!

Absolutely Beautiful
The condo at Plaza Calafia was everything we'd hoped for. The condo was spotless. The shower doors were a little cloudy, but I assumed it's caused by their water. The view was spectacular and one of the best in the complex. The neighbours were awesome and very helpful. They made you feel welcome and at home. The pools and grounds were clean and beautifully maintained. The condo owner got back to me immediately and answered all my questions. Fransisco, the property manager, was there to greet us and show us around. He also made arrangements to have us picked up at the airport and picked up some first day groceries for us. We could not have asked for anything more....we loved our 5 week stay and hope to return soon.

Great Getaway in Cabo Bello, Calafia
Fun 3 week vacation for 2 retired Canadian couples. We enjoyed relaxing by the pools and excursions down to the beach. The property is in need of some repairs and updating but overall is comfortable and well equipped. The property manager Francisco is amazing, provides a great orientation to the property and very helpful in suggesting nearby amenities etc. and responsive to our needs in a very professional manner. Overall it was a very positive experience!

Awesome location with swim-able beach
This property was great! The view was amazing from the balcony and the beach was a short walk downhill from the condo. 2 pools were just around the corner. Inside the condo was great for 4 adults, with two bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. It was clean and spacious. House was well equipped for cooking our own meals and also great restaurants were nearby. More beach chairs would have been great. Fransico was friendly and helpful when we had inquiries. We would stay here again.

Wonderful little community
This was a really nice little property in a wonderful small community with a great location. The access to a essentially private beach given the gated community was really fun. The home was nicely furnished and the kitchen fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Everything inside the property worked well. It had a great view of the ocean and the nicely manicured desert gardens. The grounds and the pools were very nice and everything was very peaceful and quiet. Parking was easy and the security at the gate was comforting. We would highly recommend this community to others.

Cabo Bello is great
We loved this place. The property was clean and with 24/7 gated security. Supermarket right across the street was awesome. A couple of amazing taco places within walking distance. Also, a 5 minute walk to your own private beach getaway. People on the property were also very friendly. Everyone would always say hello and answer any questions. If you don't speak spanish don't worry almost everyone speaks english. We would definitely come back here again.

Lovely stay at Cabo Bello Casa de Jardin
This is a really nice condo. We had a very comfortable stay here. The unit has everything you would need. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with dishes, utensils and small appliances. The patio is a great place to sit; it was never too hot as there was always a lovely ocean breeze. The bed, pillows, and linens were all very comfortable and the overhead fans in the unit are a definite asset. As well, the decorating is pleasing and interesting. The whole neighborhood, and the condo grounds, are extremely well maintained. It is very quiet at Cabo Bello and if you are looking for a relaxing vacation, this would be a very good spot. The beach is a nice place to relax, not too busy, and Casa de Jardin has a closet full of beach items, including an umbrella. Be advised, this residential neighborhood is built on a hillside. If you do not have a car, there are very few amenities you can easily walk to in the area. And everywhere you go is uphill or downhill, so if you have mobility issues or joint problems, you will definitely want to have a car. We used Uber and had no issues. Overall we really enjoyed the condo and would like to return for another stay. Thank you to the owners for sharing their vacation home with us!

Overall the best thing about this condo is the view from the balcony where whale watching can be a daily thing. Surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens and easy walk ways make the outdoor areas of Plaza Califia very enjoyable. This condo is small but doable for 2 people, as avid cooks we found it had a nicely equipped kitchen and once we got on to how the cooktop and micro/oven combo worked cooking was only challenge by the limited counter space. The furniture is comfortable ( could use a steamed cleaned) Beds are also fairly comfortable We enjoyed our 10week stay and found the condo comfortable and charming.

Cockroach issue the entire stay
In all honesty I wish to be fair to the property owners and yet I must also be honest with our stay. We had a serious cockroach issue that interfered with our sleep. Meaning that we were afraid of the pest landing on us ( which they did). Every night was a sleepless night spoiling our vacation. Now, the property owners did not know that the building had been sprayed the day before our arrival thus causing the pest to travel, in this case they traveled to our master bed/ bathroom and kitchen. I am talking about these bugs in the tub, ceilings etc. I reached out to the owners to let them know that we were having a pest issue. They sent over a crew to help with the problem but it only subsided slightly. For the inconvenience The owners were kind enough to refund a “very small” portion of our cost. Having stayed at a different condominium in Cabo Bella we never experienced this type of issue. You decided if if a 1 star ⭐️ or better.

Quiet and convenient!
The house is part of a quiet gated community and is very close to a seemingly private beach. Access to the Fresko just across the main road is super convenient for groceries, and the community itself has a relatively local vibe, especially compared to downtown Cabo. If you’re looking for a private spot to have a more relaxing vacation, I would definitely recommend!

Beautiful, clean and welcoming. Francisco the concierge was amazing. He sent a car to pick us up and to return us to the airport. He was here to greet us upon arrival and show us around. We very much enjoyed our stay! When it was time to leave he even set up our in condo Covid tests! I highly recommend this lovely condo.

Perfection!
The photos are exactly as in real life. You can see the ocean from the patio. You really could see a whale from the patio on a good day. We walked about a block down a sandy path to the beach and we saw a whale!!! We borrowed the beach umbrella snd pop cooler that was in the storage closet, and had a great time. The beds were comfortable. Everything is very clean. The kitchen is well-stocked with cooking and serving items. The coffee pot is standard (not a Keurig, which is totally fine, just letting people know so they know what to purchase). There is a brand new market across the street (but you have to drive there). You can get everything you need. Karen was a responsive host, and her manager, Francisco, was very kind and knowledgeable. Our recommendation for a tour company is Cabo Adventures. There is a brochure in the drawer, and they are a legit, safe, and reasonably priced tour company. You will LOVE this place!!!!!

It's basically a two-bedroom/two-bathroom apartment just a stone's throw from the ocean. Very basic, well maintained and well stocked with kitchen goodies and most importantly for me it was nice and quiet. Far from the crazy crowds partying it up in Cabo yet not that far from Walmart when you need to stock up on groceries. It doesn't have a private pool, but then, the public pool was empty the entire time I was there so it might as well have been private.

Beautiful and cozy get away
Karen and Aaron's place is clean and beautiful. The condo is nicely decorated and very bright. It has everything we needed and the patio has a gorgeous view. We saw whales jumping and splashing a few times in the distance from the patio :) We really wish we could stay longer. We hope to go back again soon once this crazy outbreak is gone.

Apartment was perfect with only one exception...there was no microwave as advertised. Very clean. Best tip from manager was grocery delivery service, The Prickly Pear. Private beach was beautiful...just be sure to get the latest gate code!

Cabo Bello
This was our second time staying at the Cabo Bello condo and we very much enjoyed our stay. We find Cabo Bello to be an excellent location in that it is close to Cabo San Lucas; only a short bus ride or car trip yet it makes for a very private and quiet holiday. The area is very secure and is a gated community. The beach is a quick five minute walk from the Condo and it is very private and great for snorkeling. Karen's Condo is very modern and has excellent amenities for visitors (beach gear, chairs, umbrella, etc.) as well as most staples for preparing light meals. There is a lovely space off the living room and bedroom which is a great place for a morning coffee or a sunset drink. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay, away from much of the noise this is a great space. Also, the check in and check out procedures were great and all communication was top knotch. Highly reccomend!

Christmas in Los Cabos
My family of four had a wonderful and relaxing stay at La Casa de Jardín. The condo is thoughtfully decorated with plenty of room and seating for all. The kitchen was well-stocked with plenty of supplies, and I appreciated having the washer and dryer in the unit. We spent a lot of time on the patio, admiring the view (the picture doesn’t do it justice), and on the beach which is just a quick walk from the condo. There’s a separate closet stocked with chairs, umbrella, body boards, and snorkeling equipment. Our kids explored the rocks at low tide and we saw quite a variety of fish while snorkeling. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again when we return to Cabo.

Viva Mexico! Great Stay...
Wonderful, relaxing, beautiful Mexico... We loved staying at Casa Jardin! Everything was in place, clean, and Ada was super helpful upon checking in. The condo had a great view and we saw many whales from patio. Also, the location was fantastic. Secluded and quiet.. but, really you’re only 6 miles from chilleano beach or downtown Cabo. The decorating in the condo was beautiful and very detailed and added to our experience.. Mexican dishware and bedding with bright colors on the walls. Private beach to walk to was nice, not a swimable beach though. We will definitely be back again and will recommend Califia plaza condos to anyone who wants a quiet Mexican vacay🌮🌞🌅🌴🐠!! Great location in a well equipped condo
We stayed for two weeks at Karen's condo in Cabo Bello. We were there long enough to really get a sense of the area and the condo. Here's what we thought of it: The location is about 3-4 miles from downtown Cabo San Lucas. We had a car but often times we took the local bus into and out of town. It was nice to have the car for longer trips to the beach or San Jose but we really enjoyed taking the bus. Both the Costco and the Walmart are only a short drive from the condo which was very convenient. It is very secure with a gated entrance near the highway. The condo is very quiet. The unit itself is very modern and well furnished. The kitchen has many spices, oils, etc. from previous visits. There is a beautiful patio off of the living room and main bedroom. The condo complex is older but Karen's condo is very modern so it must have been updated very recently. The private beach is a short walk but we drove to Chileno beach which was outstanding. It was nice to be so close to beaches other than Medano as it is very busy and there are many peddlers on that beach. Another nice feature of her place is the amount of beach gear that is available during our stay; umbrellas, beach chairs, water socks, snorkels & masks, coolers, etc. She pretty well has everything you need for a great day at the beach. This is very important as we saw some people with just a towel at the beach and that would not be very much fun. If you want a quiet place to stay that is not in the center of the party zone, Karen's place was great and I feel it was excellent value. I have no problem recommending her place and hopefully we will return one day.

Not what we hoped for
Overall the property and unit are nice. Proximity to beach as well. Furniture, including beds were terribly uncomfortable, property at night was poorly lit. Pool and spa days open until 10 pm but there was absolutely no light to see. We were also told that we needed to check out by 11, but the housekeepers were waiting before 10 to get us out. Lastly, the tv had only 8 channels and no DVD player-tough with two small kiddos

Cute little condo
We stayed at this wonderful condo the week of Christmas 2018. My husband and my mom were with me and it was a great set up for the three of us. The bedrooms were nice and clean as well as the bathrooms. The kitchen is well-stocked with anything you would need to make basic meals- we eat all three meals in typically so this was a huge plus for us. The air conditioning worked well - the only time we needed it was in the morning and this would be my only negative comment on the place is that you get the smell of septic most mornings so you can't leave your door open. We ended up buying 6 candles to put around the patio which helped but the smell was very overpowering. It seemed like the smell was only in the mornings and by 8am or so would evaporate (Note- This is not the only place in Mexico where we have had this happen- I believe they use grey water to water the common gardens so I think that is where it comes from). The beach is nice because it is private to the few condos/hotel in the area. It is a good walk as well as stairs down to the beach so my mom had trouble getting down to the beach but we once down there we had a wonderful time snorkeling and even saw sea lions at sunset while standing on the beach. The property management company is very kind and met us on our arrival and our departure and offers concierge services. Overall we loved staying at this little condo and would definitely return!

Great experience!
Stayed here with my wife and another couple, had a great time enjoying the private beach and pools, and is in a safe neighborhood with helpful security that you can call to get you taxi's at anytime. Very close to the gate to the beach and a great experience overall! Only negative was that the second bedroom's beds are a little short and aren't very comfortable. I do plan on staying here again.

Stayed here with my family (2 adults, 3 kids ages 10,8, and 8). Awesome to have the pool and beach nearby. Bring water shoes! The beach is rocky. Low tide snorkeling is a good way to spend the afternoon - high tide can be rough but we still boogie boarded and swam close to shore. Buses into town are easily accessible - just catch one across the street. We usually paid an average of 40-60 pesos for the 5 of us to get downtown. Have pesos for the bus because we usually paid more if we used American money. Everyone’s been really friendly and we’ve felt safe everywhere we’ve went. The filtered water they provide is great. The view is awesome - we’ve seen a few whales from our balcony which was cool. There’s lots of cool birds and hummingbirds as well. It was a great stay - would definitely recommend it!

Clean, safe, lovely property
We had a wonderful time staying in this home. We love coming to Cabo and specifically love staying in the Cabo Bello neighborhood for the beach. We walked there almost everyday. Very accessible. There are beach towels, coolers, umbrella etc all available with the condo which makes everything super easy. We would stay again!
