Our stay was great we really enjoyed it a lot. Staff was super friendly for the most part. Some of the receptionist at the check in area were not super friendly. They were not mean but they just didn’t have any personality and were super dry when checking you in or out which was weird for that type of personality to be at the check in area. Also they were very difficult to accommodate if you had any special request. For example I had requested 1 bed when I made my reservation but they gave me 2 queen beds. When I mentioned that I requested 1 bed they were not helping to accommodate it. Their answer was it’s just a request so that’s all you get.

I wish checking should be not that late. We had 12 hrs travel and jetjeg, arrived property by noon. We have to wait another 4 hours to get in room. Wifi does not work at all. Time share people should not that be pushy.

This is the first all-inclusive we’ve stayed at where they print out a receipt and you have to sign for everything!!! It was ridiculous! I’ve never had to do this before. It created very long lines for drinks by the pool. Even if you wanted a bottle of water or a Diet Coke you had to sign for it. It took my husband 30 min to get two drinks. They also have a limit on how many you can get at one time which was two per person. I will never go back to this resort! We also had friends that had been traveling all night and when they finally got there they had them attend a time share presentation for an hour and a half. They were mad too!!

Overall, excellent! We truly enjoyed our trip. Our kids had a blast. They have so many activities for kids of all ages and have a kids club that does very interaxtive, education focused activities. Also, in Canada we have great eggless options but we didnt know what our options would be in Cabos since we are vegetarian. But when they could, they made us eggless options when we asked. For example, eggless waffles and pancakes for breakfast. Every employee always greeted us with smiles and positive attitude. We felt right at home. We always felt well taken care of so we could enjoy our family trip. I would come here again and I highly recommend Villa del Palmar to others.

We were disappointed with Villa Del Palmar for many reasons. First of all the staff were never helpful, in fact they bordered on being rude most of the time. The pool staff told my 16 year old that she was “being watched by the cameras” when she came to the pool with a bag of chips from our room. We were harassed by the staff for bringing our own coffee from our rooms (our rooms with full kitchens that included coffee makers). When we tried to get towels sometimes they would just say, “no, you’ve already taken your towels for today” - we had not taken any towels yet. The pools are too small for the number of rooms, so there’s nonstop bickering between guests and staff for sun loungers. Getting a drink is like winning a lottery, the service is so slow. I guess my biggest issue with the hotel is that the staff is just not welcoming or nice. When on holiday you want to feel relaxed, not like you’re in an episode of Survivor trying to win the Immunity Idol to be able to enjoy your stay in peace with a drink. Will not be back.

First and foremost, they falsely advertise their property as an all-inclusive resort. Nothing could be further from the truth. They will charge you for every single thing. The front staff are very rude and nasty. Room service is poor, with long wait times. The bed sheets are uncomfortable and old. There are not enough towels for showering. The balcony screens are broken. There are insufficient poolside chairs for relaxation. They are unable to accommodate the number of guests staying at the resort, due to understaffing. Check-in and check-out processes are terrible, unpleasant, and unacceptable. The area around the pool, in my opinion, is unsafe due to the flooring. The floor covering is uneven, requiring caution when walking in the area. Additionally, the pool is consistently dirty, with sand accumulating in it. Furthermore, the bottom of the pool is very rough. The only positive aspect of the resort is the restaurants. Their food is great, and the presentation is excellent. For this reason, I give them one star.

We encourage constructive criticism so we may be able to learn and grow but unfortunately, it doesn't sound like the fundamental characteristics of the hotel failed to meet your expectations. I personally tried to help in the check in by giving you the room before 4:00 pm which we did, and at your check out we provide you a late check out at 12:30. Great location, very friendly employees, clean and well run. Two complaints: they want to charge you either $30 USD per day for $50 for internet access. The free access isn't good enough to even keep up with email. This level of gouging is completely unacceptable to me. Secondly: the mattresses we had (double room) were weirdly soft with some hard parts. Not a luxury experience at all, led to some poor sleep.

From the moment we arrived at Villa Del Palmar we were blown away by the impeccable service and breathtaking surroundings. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met, making us feel like VIPs throughout our stay. The accommodations were so great, with stunning ocean views from our room. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and having delicious meals at the on-site restaurants, each offering a unique culinary experience. The servers were all so great, Omar was our favorite! We can’t wait to return to this paradise in Cabo! I highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at Villa del Palmar. In particular, the guest services manager, Oscar, was extremely helpful in finding us a room with a walk in shower and close to the beach, that accommodated my husband's medical needs as he recovered from hip surgery. Oscar followed up with us throughout our stay to make sure all was good. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, with made to order egg dishes, and delicious fresh fruit and Mexican pastries. I enjoyed a lovely massage at the Desert Spa. As an added bonus, both the spa treatment and breakfast were included with the room rate! We like the location of the villa group resorts, as they are right on the beach, set aside from other resorts around, and a short distance from town.

I was not thrilled with the entire booking of this resort. I made a reservation and it said all inclusive (this is a main reason I chose this resort.) 3 days before my arrival date I was called and when asking questions I was told it did NOT include all inclusive. I have to spend another $2500 for an all inclusive plan. Very unprofessional. Check in was very awkward as they needed to separate my reservation and take multiple security deposits. At check out time I was charged $215 over what Expedia told me I would be charged in total. If this process could have been smoother I would have been happy with the experience but unfortunately I can n to leave a 5 star review.

The best food hands down at any buffet you eat, definitely all inclusive is the way to go! The staff and management are superior, the pool is amazing. They just need to have the same rules for leaving your personal items and pool towels down on chairs. We had ours taken away after 15 mins left while the people beside us had left theirs for 2.5 hours and not removed. Management made this right and we got our items back and it was a wonderful stay. Highly recommend!! .

I would not go back to this property. While it was pretty, it was SO noisy in the lobby and rooms. The lobby is a very loud space and unfortunately there is an opening in the center of the lobby all the way up to the top floors. It is like a megaphone to each level of the resort. We were awoken several times each night by noise outside our room, which in turn was just people being noisy in the lobby. We also had housekeeping staff come into our room 2 times in the evenings by mistake. We were there for 3 nights and 2 nights of the three, someone from the staff opened up our door and spoke something in Spanish to us. We said wrong room, and they turned around and left. We were asleep one time and it really startled us. We also did not realize that they were adding gratuity to each time we placed any kind of order and therefore, we double tipped them. We did not go all-inclusive and buying anything in their "store" cost a FORTUNE. 30.00 for a pack of cheese, 62.00 for a small pizza and a cup of soup. Robbery! Definitely would not go there again.

Overall fun experience. Very clean. Disappointed they would not honor the all inclusive quote we had when we checked in. There seems to be many all inclusive deals for this resort, however they were pretty determined to stick with the "counter" price at check in so started the stay on a sour note. The shows were fun and the staff are incredibly courteous.

Our stay at Villa Palmar was excellent! The property was right on the beach, surrounded by beautiful views to wake up to every single morning. The property was also clean and had everything a person needed. My friend and I enjoyed the facilities and the multiple options in terms of pools and jacuzzis. We especially loved the jacuzzi right in front of the ocean. The food was actually so beyond delicious for being a resort that offered all inclusive options . The breakfast buffet was hands down our favorite place to dine every single morning- shout out to Omar the best waiter at Bella California in the mornings! Taco Bar was a delicious place for lunch, the tacos and fresh tortillas were everything. Both restaurants, Carbon and Bella California offered nice dinner options. All of the staff was amazing, poolside, within the resort, and at all of the restaurants. I recommend this hotel so highly!
