'Confusion about me having prepaid for a 3 night stay. I communicated, in advance, asking about returning for a single night a week later and she HAD said “yes, of course “. Once we arrived she said “no it wasn’t possible “. We then had to leave a day early (although already paid for 3 nights) to stay elsewhere so we could leave a bag and return for our final night in Quito. The apt was adequate.'

'Fantastic stay at La Basilica Quito. Great location with good security, very friendly owners and staff. English spoken. Very clean and nice rooms, comfortable beds and bathroom with all amenities. Some of the rooms are located in-house, which makes them a bit stuffy due to lack of ventilation, but this is minor. Right in the hart of Old Quito at 5 minutes walk from historic square with cathedral, museums, presidential palace, and also the National Basilica. '
