'I enjoyed the accommodations very well, room was nice, grounds were well kept. I actually left some clothes behind and realized it 2 hours later while traveling back to Georgia. I called the hotel, told them what I'd done and they gathered the stuff up and shipped it to me. Very grateful. '

'This is one of those older motels where you can park in front of your room. I drive a Dodge Ram, and I really appreciated how the spots are wide. I could open my doors fully without bumping vehicles on either side of me. The rooms are kind of basic, but everything worked, including the AC. It was clean and quiet. No issues. I fully recommend the Welch Motel. '

In fact, on a big road trip with 10 hotel stops, I mistakenly booked the wrong night at this location, and I didn't realize the mistake until they called to confirm. Happily, they were able to switch it to the correct night. The gentleman at the desk was very attentive to the buffet during breakfast.'
