'This is a hidden gem in a maybe not well known, but great Barrio in Buenos Aires, i.e. Almagro. Taxi and Uber work great and cost little, so within minutes you are in Palermo or other Barrios. The owner of Casa Umare, Pablo, was always available for any request and even provided us with metro cards. The house itself is a beautifully restored 100 year old mansion with matching art all around, mostly from Pablo, who is also a gifted artist.'

'In a real Buenos Aires neighborhood teeming with local families walking their children and pets, sits this beautiful mini hotel in a building that housed a convent, now repurposed, where the rooms cohabitate with a couple of boutiques and a wine store -- an innovative concept beautifully executed. The serenity of the stately building induces a sense of peace, only disturbed by the sounds percolating from the adjacent room. Wonderful attentive staff --thank you, Nadia and Andrea-- and all-around...

'Really friendly and helpful staff, new facilities and great breakfast. I stayed in 4 different locations in Buenos Aires, Krista was by far the best. It is conveniently located in Palermo Soho neighborhood, which is full of nice bars, restaurants and shopping places.'
