'We were not originally planning on staying in Middletown but were pleasantly surprised on arrival. The Garden House is very comfortable and convenient to many things in town. 'We noticed bug remnants on the bed frame and a bug in the bed. Small black stains on the sheets. Couldn’t up load the pics to the website and was not given an alternative to send the pics. They sent their cleaner over who said everything looked fine. Sent the pics we took to the host via VRBO. Have not heard back. We will eat the 334 as no refund was offered. These things happen. 'Loved it! This is a perfect setting in the vineyards of the Russian River Valley. Everything we needed was provided, it was an enjoyable stay. Free tasting at the vineyard nearby was an added bonus! The two master suites were ideal for our group of two couples. The hot tub was delightful, and the house was spacious, clean and pleasant!'

'This location is very far removed from St. Helena (25min) even though the address states St. Helena. It’s an old and rather rundown farm. The hostess was rude when I tried to cancel after finding out by a colleague that this was not an ideal place since I was traveling alone and the location has no internet, cellphone signal and it’s really in the middle of nowhere.
