'I normally do not leave bad reviews, but this experience was honestly horrible and very upsetting for my family. When we first walked into the hotel, we noticed dog hair all over the couch. I brushed it off because I understand people travel with pets and tried not to make a big deal about it. 'Check-in was REDUNCULACLY slow. However the staff was very accommodating. It was conveniently located near Kalahari pool park. The prices here were much more reasonable than those charged by the pool park. Also, being attached to a casino, may have been the reason I didn't notice a lot of kids running around. 'This was, I think, the creepiest place I've ever stayed. I do have to mention that the woman at the front desk was absolutely lovely--but she was the only good part of my stay. There were a couple of the tiny roaches in my shower both times I showered (I had to stay two nights). My door looked like it had been mangled in a knife fight. The hallway looked, no joke, very much like the hallway in The Shining. I felt safe enough, like physically, once I had locked the doors-- but it felt very dirty...

'My room was in excellent condition. They are working on remodeling this hotel but I must have gotten one of the newly finished rooms. We did not have time to use any of the extras that came with the room except breakfast and it was a good selection and the area was very clean.'

'The room was what you would expect for a discount motel chain. No issues there. The problem we had was the pipes in the bathroom burst overnight, so we awoke to a completely flooded bathroom and bathroom area. The front desk's way of helping us was giving us a key to use another room's bathroom, but at that point, we just wanted to get out of there, wet luggage and all. We are still waiting days later to hear back from the manager about the incident.'
