'We booked this bed and breakfast for a weekend marriage conference. Before arriving we were called and told that they had to move our room to the carriage house due to a septic issue with the main manor. The carriage house is a smaller building on the property. 'There were only two highlights to this resort. The pool is very nice with a poolside bar and you can order food. No hot tub though. The casino offers a buffet restaurant and there is plenty to choose from at $25pp. The rest of this resort is poor. They say smoking and non smoking areas in the casino but the casino is one big room and smoke is everywhere. The rooms are a basic hotel room with paper thin walls. You hear everything and I mean everything going on in the hallway and the room next to...

'The updated signs will be helpful when they are finished to know where things are, but the staff was super polite and helpful. Our family room was very nice and clean and easy to get to with parking right by the room. Our only negative experience was out of the property control with the neighboring room being extremely loud getting in at 1 a.m. We are still giving 5 stars because the property was nice, away from the hustle, but still convenient to everything. '

'Such a lovely stay and overall experience — definitely one I’d repeat. If you’re visiting in winter, there are a few things to keep in mind: make sure to read all the information they provide. If you plan to use the jacuzzi, start heating it as soon as you arrive so you can really enjoy it; same with the sauna. I think I’d even pay a bit extra if the heating were electric, but honestly, if you have the right attitude, lighting it yourself becomes part of the fun and the experience. I...

'This was, I think, the creepiest place I've ever stayed. I do have to mention that the woman at the front desk was absolutely lovely--but she was the only good part of my stay. There were a couple of the tiny roaches in my shower both times I showered (I had to stay two nights). My door looked like it had been mangled in a knife fight. The hallway looked, no joke, very much like the hallway in The Shining. I felt safe enough, like physically, once I had locked the doors-- but it felt very dirty...

'Phone did not work, stains on the sheets, tub very slippery. The breakfast “included” was the worst thing I have ever come across for a hotel breakfast. Stereos were not lit, hot food just tepid;juice machine in pieces and not working, basic bread for toast. No bagels,peanut butter,jelly. Tiny little muffins. All the same flavor. Will not stay here again. There is a best western right next to this days inn. '
