'Il Sentiero was a wonderful surprise. It is a very serene and picturesque agriturismo with tons of olive and lemon trees. Owner/operator Salvo is a very hospitable and lovely person. We chose to eat there each evening, and he never failed to provide us with tasty meals. We highly recommend this place for visitors to the Catania area. It is located about 40 minutes north of the airport, close to an autostrada exit, and is convenient for visiting places such as Mt. Etna, Taormina, and Messina.'

'Prachtige locatie! Zeer goede service en aardig personeel en heerlijk zwembad. Ontbijt was basic maar de koffie was heerlijk. Wij hadden kamer met vide; op de vide was het qua hitte niet te doen. De airco was niet toereikend om ook de vide te verkoelen. Wij miste een (klein) koelkastje. Hygiëne was prima, elke dag schone handdoeken en bedden werden opgemaakt. Prachtige strandjes bezocht en heerlijke restaurantjes in de omgeving.'

'Fantastic! Must have dinner here...the food and wine was fabulous and so affordable! It was hard to find so make sure you get the instructions from them. Google maps only gets you to a certain point and also gives you an option up Via Belisomo that you must not take! But it is worth staying here for sure!'

'I was not happy about the place as it failed when attempting to check-in. 1st) check-in is listed as 3PM, so I arrived slightly after 3PM and no one was at the place to allow check-in. 2nd) They only communicated thru Hotels.com app and I couldn'tr check in till 6PM. 3rd) The room's AC only works when you insert their key, but when you leave for dinner, the AC turns off (not smart when temps were very high 4th) at check-in, we were told breakfast was no included despite it saying on Hotels.com...
