'This cottage is very comfortable in a safe, calm and peaceful setting. It had everything we needed and we were even able to borrow dog beds to make sure our dogs didn't get cozy on furniture! It is a perfect location to explore Copper country. We did several hikes in the area including Mt. Baldy, Black Creek, Eagle Harbor trails, Horseshoe Harbor, and the trail in the town of Central. After hiking in the rain one day, we fired up the common sauna for some extra relaxation.'

'Lots of room, great cooking supplies for making meals, access to the shore, kayaks and fishing poles, books and games for rainy days. We have been here multiple times, and it's honestly one of our favorite places '

'For a couple of a small child the one bedroom is so cute and clean. The flooring in front of the shower is a worn. When coming back to the are, this is the place to stay.! Full size appliances make it extra nice touch. '

'This property was perfect for our family and looked just as advertised! The beds were very comfortable & the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook a family meal. There were 2 a/c units that kept us very comfortable. The stairs going up into the main part of the property are very steep with small steps, and we had to carry our big dog down them to get him outside. However, there are baby gates in the closet, and we could have gated the stairs to keep him on the lower...

'Cute apartment (lower level of house) that is centrally located in downtown Calumet, you can walk almost anywhere in town (such a cute town) The apartment has an old world charm and the apartment was very clean! Great property management that was easy to talk too and quick response, def recommend to others. '

'Lovely home in an amazing location along Lake Superior. Beautiful to look at, rock hunt, nature everywhere. House has everything that you need and very comfortable furniture and beds. Kids never looked at their electronics or tv! Lots to do nearby. This place is a gem.'

'The started off a little rocky, but our host was most helpful. We enjoyed wonderful weather (even thunderstorms in the UP are amazing), saw unmatched natural beauty, and managed to find a few special rocks. We definitely will come back.'

'Perfect home base for our son’s graduation from MTU. The cottage was spotless and cozy. Location was a quick 30” trip into Houghton but far enough away from tech to avoid the congestion of a graduation weekend. Such a gem to be located right on beautiful Lake Superior. We’ve already booked a stay for next year! '

'Awesome stay. Highly recommended, so many things and places to see from here. Everything you need in your room. Very impressed would love to come back!'

'Our family enjoyed our stay at the lodge. It was clean (including the outhouse) and had what we needed to enjoy a bit of seclusion. The sauna was our favorite part of our stay. And the hosts provided excellent recommendations for food and places to visit. Thank you!'
