'Breakfast- hash brown pre cooked and rubbery, mushrooms cold, bacon fatty, eggs tasted funny. £17 partner had cereal tea and orange juice £11. Told we could not have a latte or cappuccino as bar did not open until 10am. Cancelled our breakfasts for remainder of stay and went out to eat at Boscastle farm shop excellent. 'Great place on the Cornwall/Devon border, equidistant from the stuff you can do in the Southwest. The food they serve is great, as is the staff I interacted with. An EV charger in the same parking area is very helpful, as well. I was surprised that my single room didn't have a TV. The water pressure and heat when trying to shower were never consistent (but usually okay). While not a comment about this hotel, know that this area doesn't have much for stuff to do.
