'We stayed to play in a hockey tournament. Lots of space for 4 adults and a teen. We cooked in the kitchen as a family. And the jewel was sitting outside on the covered deck with the fire table going! Short walk to the beach, lots of eagles and deer to view. The area was quiet in the evening, very relaxing.'

'A quaint little house on the beach with a private hot tub. A morning walk on the beach, or an evening fire by the water, this place has calming comforts fit for a family.'

'The house is designed perfectly for a small family reunion. We celebrated a 90th birthday and it was brilliant. We had dinner parties for 20, using the ample and well-appointed kitchen. It was easy to be all together in the great room, or spread out slightly for smaller conversations on the huge deck or in adjoining tv room.'

'What a gem! Calm water, crabs everywhere, porpoises out the window. It is a classic Canadian cabin, just like in lake country, except without the mosquitoes but with salmon right outside. We managed to get there in a small open boat (our big one was out of commission) by doing a deal with nearby April Pt Marina.'

'Chinook Cottage is in a nice neighbourhood not far from everything you need in Campbell River. The solarium is a nice sunny space even on a rainy day.'

'This is the perfect location! It’s peaceful, quiet and clean with fast internet which allowed us to get some serious work done! The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive to any questions we had. The walking trails right out the front door are absolutely stunning as well. I would highly recommend staying here!'

Situated right on the ocean, we spent our mornings walking the beach, our nights in the hottub looking up at the stars and our days hiking Elk Fall trails. Situated 10min away from town, we had access to grocery stores. What we liked was the layout. There is one bedroom suite downstairs and three bedrooms upstairs including another Master. This was great for us as we had a teething baby. Everyone got their rest....

'This was a great rental. As soon as we walked in, we could see how clean it was. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with everything we needed for our week long stay. Only used one bedroom out of 3, and the bed was very comfortable. Bathrooms were amazing. One with a wonderful jet tub. When the sun finally came out, the view out on the water and across to the mountains was amazing. Out back was a lovely, green field. Only issue was the busy road out front. 'The entire house is well equipped and with the fireplace at the beach just perfect. Restaurants, shopping centers are close to the house ( Walmart (5min drive). Since the hosts are living near the house you will get all answers to your questions or even recommendations for local activities. Great location-you have to stay here if you want the best in town.'
