The Space:
This newly renovated, spacious 900 sq ft condo is truly divine. Tastefully decorated, you will love the well appointed kitchen with everything you need to cook up a storm. Watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee in the dining room, and in the warmer months finish your day with a glass of wine on the deck, complete with Weber grill and patio set. If it's chilly outside you can kick back and log into your Netflix, Crave & Sportsnet accounts or watch cable before retiring to the gorgeous bedroom with brand new king bed and cozy duvet. Brought an extra guest? No problem, they will sleep soundly on the new queen sofa bed with memory foam mattress. Complimentary heated underground parking for one vehicle is included, plus a storage locker for all your adventure toys.

Created with love, this condo also comes complete with complimentary local Rocky Mountain Soap Co products, delicious local Eclipse coffee beans (plus a grinder, coffee maker and French press), 5* hotel quality linen and towels. Guest Access:
Guests have access to all parts of the condo without restriction. Please note there are 7 stairs from the elevator to the condo entrance.

The Neighborhood:
Boardwalk lies just metres from Main St in downtown Canmore so you can walk to restaurants, cafes, pubs and shopping. Policeman's Creek runs right behind the building, and has a stunning boardwalk loop where you can engage with the local birdlife and enjoy peace and tranquility right in the middle of town. Elevation Place recreation centre is just across the street. Supermarkets and liquor stores are a five minute walk away. If your days plans involve heading to Banff National Park or Kananaskis Country you are just 2 minutes drive to jump on the highway. There are two off leash dog parks (one fenced and the other not) within 2-5 minutes drive - ask us for details if this is something your four legged friend might like. The river walking trails are 5 minutes down Main St and offer stunning flat walking trails by the beautiful Bow River, perfect if you have your dog with you.

Getting Around:
Free local Roam transit is available within Canmore, with connections to Banff and Lake Louise (fares apply). Legacy Trail bike path to Banff is literally a one minute ride away. Canmore is highly walkable, with dedicated paths for both foot traffic and bikes all over town. Bikes can be rented from Gear Up on Bow Valley Trail (see the Welcome Book for details).

Other Things to Note:
This property is not air conditioned. If AC is important to you please reach out to us and we can direct you to an alternative property if we have one available. It is also beside Railway Avenue, which does mean some road noise if you have the windows or patio door open. From June 9, for approximately 16 weeks, there is remediation work occurring around the perimeter of the building. This will mean a crew is onsite Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 6pm. No work will be completed on weekends. Access into the building will be primarily via the parkade, with parkade doors set to open at 7.30am - 6pm daily. You may use the code to access out of these hours. Once in the parkade you can access the residential floors via the elevator.

We are professional vacation managers who live in town and will happily offer as much or as little support as you need during your stay. It was a wonderful stay! The host Jane communicated extremely well and checked in via e-mail if we needed anything. The property was clean and easily walkable to downtown and grocery stores. The condo was spacious and well appointed. Would definitely stay again.

The room was perfectly situated as a tour base for our visit. Major shuttle services to Lake Louise will pick up at nearby hotel (4 minute walk away), the shops and restaurants nearby were excellent, and room access was easy and seamless. The unit was comfortable, spotless, well-appointed, and the view from the deck is stunning. We enjoyed beverages and just stared at the mountains every night. One thing to note is the assigned parking space is in a corner against a wall and has a concrete pillar to negotiate. If other surrounding spaces are occupied it can be a challenge to get into the spot. We had a small car and it was only difficult when all the other spaces were full, but if you plan on bringing an extended cab/bed pickup or monster SUV you’ll be in for some 10-point turns to wedge it in. This should not be construed as a deal breaker. It is wonderful to get a covered parking space ANYWHERE in this town. Just honest feedback.

Sadly first disappointing vrbo rental. Did not meet expectations. Could not get into condo because keys were missing from lock box. Could not leave message for host because they did not have voice mail set up. Finally got in using codes figured out by ourselves. Entered hot stuffy unit with NO air conditioning. Listing does not mention there is no AC. Small deck very disappointing. Nice view of mountains but horrible below. Could not sleep because of noise from freight trains, traffic and drunks below. Many small complaints adding to major annoyance.

We couldn't be happier with our stay; condo was clean & comfortable with everything we needed. The mountain views were amazing! We loved the town of Canmore and the condo was the ideal location and it was so nice not having to drive everywhere. Communication was great.

We had the most amazing time on our visit to Canmore, Banff and Kananaskis! Our Condo was in the middle of the glorious Rocky Mts. The site from our balcony were breathtaking and mesmerizing. Our stay at Morningside was everything we expected it would be from the reviews we read beforehand! The property was incredibly clean and in good condition, the owners provided every possible item we needed to be comfortable (BBQ, dishwasher, washing machine and kitchen with all supplies) and we had the views of the mountains just outside our window that we were hoping for! I would highly recommend this property to anyone as it makes you feel like you are at home!

Getting to bring our dogs on vacation with us means the world. This was by far the most accommodating pet friendly place we have stayed. Communication from the owners was wonderful right from the beginning when we booked through to the end when we checked out. The location and views were both amazing! The Three Sisters are my favourite so to wake up and see them everyday was incredible.

We regularly visit the Canadian Rockies and this apartment provided one of our most enjoyable stays in Canmore. The view of the Three Sisters from the balcony was a feast for the eyes morning, afternoon, and evening. It offers a convenient stroll to downtown restaurants and shopping so that we left our car parked in the underground garage and never had to drive a single time. The kitchen is well-equipped for meal prep "at home," and grocery stores are an easy walk too. The only down-side was how quickly the place heats up from the morning sun. Fortunately there are two great floor fans and a nice cross breeze from the windows and open patio door. We enjoyed meeting Jane and appreciated how quickly she responded when we had any questions about our stay. We'd definitely book again next time we come to Canmore.

This was the first time I stayed at this property, and it was exactly how the photos show. The location is perfect, in fact my vehicle was hardly ever brought out from the heated underground parking. The communication, cleanliness, ease of check-in & check-out were all top notch. The bed was very comfortable & the shower had lots of pressure. Something that usually can make or break my return. Thanks to Jane and her team, this property ticked off all my requirements to make my stay in Canmore very enjoyable. I can't wait to return to Morningside.

From check in to check out we were extremely pleased with our short stay at Morningside. The condo was very clean, kitchen well equipped and it is close to several restaurants as well as shops in downtown Canmore. Our car left it’s parking stall infrequently as we found we could easily get to where we wanted to go (Sobeys and Beamers coffee just “across the street”) by foot! After a day of exploring , the underground parking and gas fireplace were welcome features. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying again sometime!

The condo is in a great location and is very walkable to the town center and some local pubs. The unit was very clean and comfortable, exactly like the photos - there is a stunning view of the mountains from the kitchen balcony. The host was attentive and was very easy to get in touch with. We would absolutely recommend this condo to folks!

We love Canmore and come to visit at least 2-3 times a year. We have stayed in many places but this was our first time in this particular building. It’s also not easy to travel with pets mainly because so many places are opposed (Completely understandable), but this was one of the best experiences we’ve had! The location is perfect, the unit is stunning and clean, and there was amazing communication from the start. We will definitely be back!
