'Who doesn't love staying a few nights in a cute, tiny bright orange caboose complete with an amazing view of bison?!?! We all loved watching the herd pass throughout the day and evening grazing, playing, butting heads and resting. Great place to explore and walk around visiting other farm animals. Cheryl, her brother, and the staff were friendly and accommodating to our needs and helped to plan extra activities like horseback riding and ranch hand, which my 13 year old granddaughter loved. ...

'Hard to control temperature in the yurt. Very good set up for visiting the area. Saw elk almost every day outside the yurt. The management was very good about taking care of the cable outage'

'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Buffalo creek as a base camp after exploring the Smokies! Being welcomed into a new day listening to birdsong with our coffee and being bid safe travels each day by the bison herd was truly magical. We enjoyed listening to the rain on the Tin roof and appreciating everything that Buffalo creek offered to help us reconnect as a couple.'

'The house was very clean. Thank you Andrea! Otherwise the house was dumpy. Many things in disrepair. Broken glass globes on fan in Master bdroom. Broken chair outside.Outdoor steps and deck need paint. Broken bed frame in upstairs bedroom. Broken swing glider. No BBQ. Just some kind of hot plate that is rusting. No A/C. For eating utensils there was just one adult fork and the rest were like fondue forks. One steak knife. Refrigerator was missing a shelf. Loose stair banister. Also, a decaying...

'Very beautiful and clean cabin. We stayed for the weekend while we was visiting a friend who lives in Asheville. Hosts supplied everything needed during our stay plus more that was unexpected. There is nothing negative that I could say about our visit. We definitely plan on visiting again during the future. We love how close is is to Asheville, Maggie Valley and Cherokee. All places we like to visit and we were able to access all 3 in one weekend.'

'Absolutely loved staying at Bison Overlook Lodge! The peacefulness at the ranch was amazing! The cabin was beautiful and had plenty of things to do there when it rained. We also loved feeding the goats as their area was right beside the cabin. Other towns were just a short drive away when needed. The vacation we definitely needed!!!I did not want to leave. The 209 Cafe, which was a short distance from here, had awesome food!!!'
