'Outstanding place. Great location, beautiful views, very clean and roomy. Michael, our host was very accommodating and made sure we were well aware of all the attractions and activities. Cabot Trail lived up to its reputation. Will definitely stay with this host again if we’re lucky enough to make another trip to Nova Scotia'

'Finding this beautiful spot was an incredible treat for my 2 best friends and I celebrating my 50th birthday. It's hard to imagine but the view is even more breathtaking in real life than the gorgeous pictures! The house is spacious, decorated to perfection, full of fun amenities and really close to a grocery market. The dome was one of our favorite hang outs especially watching a few storms roll through but the relaxing hot tub was also a winner. And I have to mention we were literal steps away...

'The property was well appointed with all the conveniences of home and appreciated the little touches that made our stay extra comfortable with provided tea, coffee, cooking oil and well stocked kitchen. The location was in a quiet, peaceful setting.'

'Beautiful view of the sunset and close to skyline trail (30mins)Clean rooms and spacious with several utensils. 3 beds could be a bit more bigger for adults but we were 4 adults 2 kids so did not have any concerns. Location was close to gas and grocery. '

'This may be one of our favorite places we have stayed. The property is in pristine condition, and the setting is so peaceful. It is a wonderful place to recover from hiking through Cape Breton. The amenities are vast; Lynn has stocked the home with great detail to attention. There is no doubt that if we are back in the area, we will be staying here again and encouraging others to do the same. '

'The dome itself was lovely and well situated on the water. The bed was uncomfortable, but the linens were clean. I was very disappointed in the facilities. I have no issues with using a pit toilet, however you must provide some running water for guests. The only way I was able to fill up water bottles was to ask the people at the lodge to go into the kitchen to fill my water bottles. I was also incredibly disgusted by the showers at Cabot Shores. 'Home was very clean and comfortable and kitchen was equipped with everything you would need for a stay.The view is spectacular and we were greeted with sightings of a Seal, whales and a Bald Eagle. We would be happy to return to this beautiful location again.'
