'The compound seems fairly new. They do events, weddings, parties and conferences. It is on the main road within walking distance to stores, restaurants, bars and street markets. It is also close to the bus stations. Rooms are nice and clean. There's a security guard on site at night. The staff was nice and helpful.'

'What an awful experience,where do I start?
A few days before my trip I contacted the property. The owner first said he couldn't host me because he was fully booked and asked me to cancel the reservation. After a few exchanges he said he could host me if I booked directly with him (at a higher price than what I had booked).
At that time I could no longer cancel my reservation without paying any fee so, after he said he wouldn't respect my reservation I reported the issue to Expedia. Not so happy...

'Should have earned 5 stars - but apparently we got there during renovations, so we really could not have full access to amenities that we in the process of being brought in or managed in some way.
Apparently the website needs some attention as well - the hosts could not see our whole reservation.
We were about to leave and find another hotel, but the hosts did some last minute shifting around to make a one night stay tolerable.'

'I have been staying at Coconut Grove Beach Resort Elmina since 1995, when it was brand new. Since then few major changes or renovations have been made. This makes that the hotel is a little bit tired now. However, small upgrades in the last year or so keep accommodation / rooms at an acceptable level and the price level is ok for a beach resort. The location and surroundings of the hotel make up for any defects! Great location on the beach, nice terrace and swimming pool, with open air...

'We had an absolutely incredible stay at this hotel. Awesome staff!! The room was stunning, featuring beautiful decorations and a bed that was exceptionally comfortable. We spent hours on the room patio enjoying the breathtaking view of the ocean. Every amenity provided was useful and added great value to our stay. To top it all off, the food was incredibly great at every meal. Highly recommended!'

'Ko-Sa is a magical place to visit. My wife and I needed a little break from life and Ko-Sa delivered beyond our expectations. The staff was very attentive to our needs from the couple’s massage to a member of staff traveling to pick up my order for flowers. Food was always delicious and the grounds were clean as well. Well done Ko-Sa….we will return. '
