Barbara, this is disappointing after you gave us nothing but praise to our face. I would have loved the chance to address any concerns with you on the many face to face encounters we had during and before your stay. As far as "other" sleeping areas not being as comfortable, of course you can not compare a futon to a king size mattress. Our sleeping areas are described accurately and in detail. As far as maintenance and TLC lets cover some of the issues your group had. You had a problem with figuring out one of the AC thermostats and proceeded to have one of your guests start disassembling multiple thermostats and move them around my home to different spots. Flipping breakers etc. A simple phone call and I corrected your issue in minutes. Why would a guest start disassembling parts inside my home?! Several days into your stay you claimed you could only find 12 forks but plenty of the other utensils. Without question I went and bought you additional silverware. Now I have an over abundance... it seems the missing forks showed back up. You rented a jet ski for your first set of guests that ended up with a hole the size of my fist. Nonetheless I didnt charge your security deposit as you claimed to have no knowledge of how it got there and I even refunded your rental fee. You had a birthday party for yourself. You used tape to hang decorations throughout my 7000 sqft house pulling the paint off in multiple places. This is a nightmare for me to try and correct maintenance wise. We communicated clearly what time checkout was and let you know a new renter was coming after you. Your group was an hour late leaving. We tried to clean between the multiple people mulling about the house (not easy) and then as they were packing up your guests started to pick the house clean of the toilet paper, communal spices, soaps we just brought for the NEW guests. I was dumbfounded. After your departure I learned you abandoned a rental boat at my dock. Which we had to deal with before our new guests and convince the rental company to pickup (they said it was your responsibility). Then minutes before our new guests arrive and hours after your checkout multiple people from your party walk through the front door (without knocking) shoes still on and start walking around the clean house looking for items without permission. After 5 years of being a 5 star super host, and accommodating thousands of guests I have learned that there are some people you will never please.

Hi Nichole, thanks for your feedback. We appreciate your mostly positive review. The outdoor furniture is mostly less than a year old but it is OUTDOOR furniture it does get wet. We live in florida and during the summer it rains daily. Though, the mostly broken comment mystifies me a bit as we have something like 25 different seats/chairs on the patio, dock, and pool areas and I am aware of 1 chair that was broken after your stay. As far as check-in times we scheduled you to check in earlier as you requested and you chose to show up at 4. We had previously agreed on between 2 and 3 for your arrival time. We always try to accommodate when possible but similar to a hotel we need to clean between guests. If you book Friday and Saturday night (as you did) and someone else books sunday night. Sunday is not entirely your day. This is common practice in every hotel and resort I am aware of. That being said I still kindly granted you a late checkout on Sunday. We take our 5 star rating very seriously and have earned it after 4 years of hosting Palazzo Azzurro. I am disappointed that you didnt bring up any of these "issues" with us directly.
