'The house was a bit old-fashioned, but spacious. There were issues with cleanliness and attention to detail, and the apparent lack of effort and investment was quite a disappointment. If the house were better cared for, and if some effort were put into a couple of improvements, it could’ve been a comfortable stay, but cleanliness and attention to basic necessities should be met at minimum for a place that you’ll be sleeping or showering.'

'Many problems with this listing, first the fire alarm was low on battery, I had to physically climb to reach the smoke detector to detach and remove the battery, a sharp beeping noise went off every 90 seconds and we wouldn’t have been able to sleep without stopping it. There were no spare batteries to change. There were spiders everywhere. My friend used the shower and saw 11 of them moving around the ceiling. They were in the main bed and on the counter and sink as well. The tenant was nice...

'This little place was everything I had hoped it would be: peaceful, unique and whimsical, cozy (but surprisingly roomy). The kitchen is well-appointed, there are lots of nice touches around the place that made me feel at home, the setting is nice, the host was welcoming. I highly recommend this as a getaway. Would go back in a heartbeat!'
