'We were visiting our daughter who attends UC Santa Cruz and wanted a place not too far from campus. This property was perfect! It was just 20 minutes from the college and wow is it gorgeous! The cottage is warm, welcoming and comfortable. The property is private and secluded, perfect for anyone who likes to spend time outdoors. This place is a true gem.'

'It took a minute to adjust to the small size of the cabin; once we did, it was cozy and comfortable. The outdoor deck is great, with a couch and table, surrounded by huge trees and the sound of a creek bubbling over rocks. There is a full kitchen with a stove/oven, fridge/freezer, and hot water (that takes a few minutes to heat up). There are several cabins on the property, and doggies are welcome.'

'This was our second stay and we love it! It's quiet, it's comfortable, it's beautiful, it's well maintained and minutes to Gilroy! The first night we had an issue with the fire pit and the owner went above and beyond rectifying the problem to make sure we were happy. 'Lovely place to stay and a great location. Perfect for a couple. Only thing to consider changing is the couch. Extremely hard and uncomfortable. Otherwise, the place perfect. Loved the closed in patio. Beautiful bathroom too!'

'We loved this property. We have stayed in hundreds of vrbos and this is one of our favorites. It is beautiful, comfortable and one of the best well stocked places we have stayed. It is peaceful and quiet yet close to so many things to do. We will definitely come back!'

'The vineyard and grounds are beautiful and well kept, and the local cat is very friendly, and greeted us when we arrived. While the kitchenette was small, it was useful. There is no longer a toaster oven, as the photo shows, but instead a separate toaster and a microwave. The pots and pans are stainless, and adequate for reheating and light cooking. The location is great! It's just a few minutes from some nice shops in Aptos Village, and Nisene Marks State Park, where we hiked a couple times.'

'My husband and I stole away an extended weekend to celebrate our Anniversary. This beautiful, relaxing, and stunning carriage house is located north of the boardwalk and south of the surf museum and surfers coves. We spent the entire time walking leisurely along the promenade, loving every moment, preparing food from the sweet open kitchen. The place is so cute with outstanding details that felt so completely home and personal. We cannot wait to return ASAP.'

'The Lotus and its property manager Kimberley deserve 6 stars. We've stayed in many lovely VRBO's over the years, and this stay somehow rose above them all. The experience was as much of a private spa as a home stay. The location, property, tiny house, amenities, and Kimberley's attention exuded peaceful luxury. Every detail has been attended to. 'Our second visit, this is a great spot. Grandparents and grandkids alike love it. Note to owners: a little maintenance work on front showerhead and replacing burnt out light bulbs in several rooms would give great bang for the buck. All told, those are minor inconveniences and this place is magical. The walk to the beach and around town is unbeatably convenient. 'Lovely large grounds near an amazingly beautiful regional park with redwoods and many diverse microclimates. The bedrooms are small but adequate. The hot tub is a fabulous treat!'

I loved the thoughtful details like the record player with vintage albums (my daughter enjoyed playing them!), the shampoo and body wash in the shower, and the Nespresso pods. 'My friend and I had a very pleasant stay here on our way down the California coast. The room was clean, well stocked with, and the large bed was very comfortable. The balcony view was very nice as well. Highly recommend!'

'This newly renovated property was clean and in a great location! The only markdown we have would be for the complications associated with accessing the property. Parking was terrible due to construction (not the fault of the property owner) and it was difficult to ascertain which property was even our rental. Overall, an AMAZING property that I’m sure we’ll return to in the future.'

'Although it turned out to only be two of us, it would have been fine for four. The only disappointment was the local restaurants were on winter hours which means they were open only Wednesdays through Sundays. Other than that, it was perfect for us.'
