'The cabin was small but cute and very well equipped. The setting was stunning. A shaded grassy yard leads to the river, which was beautiful and had a view of the mountains. The river was swift but very shallow. Not deep enough to kayak or canoe but perfect for a beach chair with your feet in the water. 'We stayed for a long weekend following Christmas - needed to get away from the city for a bit. It's a beautiful house with a great view and good location. It was just 3 of us so the space was fine -- I am not sure I would recommend it for a larger group in winter, as you'd really be on top of each other. For the other three seasons, the deck, hot-tub, and firepit would all be great ways to spread out. Would definitely love to go back sometime in the future!'

'Wabi Sabi Cabin was the perfect place to be quiet amongst the trees and calm in nature. We were able to relax, unwind and rejuvenate from our everyday stress. The cabin is well-stocked, beautifully decorated and tucked into the forest of trees. It was rainy every night that we were there, but I can imagine you can do some amazing stargazing! As it was, we loved hearing the rain patter on the roof as we fell asleep at night. Highly recommend!'

'We had a great time staying here. It was our second time and again was great! The house is very clean, kitchen well stocked. The wildlife, the quiet, the peace of mind - priceless. Our kids were so happy after they found out that we coming back to the "wooden house in West Virginia".There is plenty of activities you can do around, starting with tons of hiking trails, caverns and ending with local charming shops and wineries. Great place for children too, especially our 6 month old as the location had a pack and play as well as a high chair, making our packing that much lighter. Great communication with host.
