'This hotel was absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views and a peaceful, serene atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the pool area was a true oasis—surrounded by lush trees and flowers, with only the soothing sound of cicadas. The walk to the hotel is quite steep, but well worth it for the experience. Plus, there’s a luggage transport service available for a fee. '

'At first, we were nervous that the property was so far up the mountain and down a tiny back street, in which the taxi wasn’t even able to go down. We had to walk a quarter mile down this alleyway to the location. However, once we arrived to the property, it was beautiful and the hosts were extremely hospitable and happy. They arranged a Vespa to be brought to the property and even cooked us homemade breakfast every morning. The room was beautiful, clean and had its own bathroom and air...

If you are lucky enough to find Palazzo del Barone available for your stay then book it. The attention to detail is second to none. They have thought of everything. The pictures of Palazzo del Barone do not capture how absolutely gorgeous it is. This property is meticulously cleaned daily. No buffets here....your breakfast is made...

'The ladies working at the front desk are so kind and helpful! They make you feel so welcome. Definitely would recommend them! The rooms are very clean, the air conditioning is great. Can walk down into town from the resort fairly easily (~20 minutes downhill) but walking back up is a challenge (possible, but definitely don’t recommend doing it with luggage). There is a good restaurant right beside the resort, and a grocery store, but be aware that the hours of operation are limited. The pool was...
