'Small but mighty is this beach cottage. Located two blocks from the beach in one of my favorite San Diego neighborhoods. Ira was a great host - speedy responses when we needed anything. Bed was comfy as well as the pullout couch! Would definitely stay again.'

Good thing I had a mini cooper that I could fit in the garage with a couple tries (though could have been my poor parking skills.) Wonderful location. 'Communication with the host and check in/check out were very easy. You could see into the house from the doors of the guest house but they put blinds on the guest house doors in case you wanted privacy. The iron was leaky and the plugs on the power strip that was left of the bed did not work. The location was great and we could walk to food/public transportation.'

'My husband took our 2 teen daughters to Lynn’s place this past week for 4 nights. It was spectacular! The views are incredible, and the sunsets were unbelievable. We sat several nights on the deck and just watched all the people walking and enjoying the coastline with their adorable dogs! The cottage is fully stocked and adorably decorated. 'The cottage is cozy, but it is not well maintained. There are traces of mold on the ceiling and windows. The wooden frames are weathered. Weeds are growing in the courtyard, the upholstery of the chairs is dirty. The cottage was only superficially cleaned. There was thick dust under the furniture and a tuft of black hair under the shower curtain in the bathroom. A complaint I made about a broken hairdryer was not answered. 'We knew we wanted to stay in OB to hang at Dog Beach, and I chose this place because of the proximity to the beach (maybe a 4 minute walk), and the dog washing station! This property has street parking and isn’t so bad if you time it right (wait for people to go to work and you’ll get a close spot). The property is set back from the street and quiet. 'Relaxing around the firepit and taking in the SD air! Everything is walking distance. We enjoyed the Water Bar the most which faces the pacific but if you want ocean view make a reservation very romantic watching the sunset.'

'My husband and I were in town for a special birthday party and we stayed at this wonderful new house. The house was immaculate, and Colette was very accommodating for early arrival. We really appreciated the Quality linens, towels, and special touches throughout the house. Super proximity to the town of Delmar and the ocean. Everything was walkable.. 'We've been staying at this property almost every year for a number of years now. We still love it. It's not super fancy but has everything we need to enjoy a comfortable, relaxing week at the beach. It's perfect for us! Great views to watch the dolphins and the sunset, just off the boardwalk to avoid the extra noise, and easy to go back and forth between the beach and meal times or potty breaks. We'd buy it if it ever went up for sale, it's that enjoyable!'

'Excellent property to visit. Amenities are wonderful. Daily activities provided by the hotel, separate adult jacuzzi, gym, and bicycles. Centrally located to restaurants and shopping. Easy beach access.'

'Very nice condo off the beach. Kitchen amenities were great. The only downside was the few outdated things (loose sink faucet and shower head), thin walls, and the power outage due to construction. Otherwise, the room was spacious and felt like home.'

'We found our stay at Marbella very enjoyable. Our king corner unit had a great view of the ocean and pier. The sound of the waves in the evening was very relaxing. We did yoga on the patio one day which was great. The rooms and bathrooms are on the small side but comfortable. The location is great. Highly recommend this place. '
