The room was clean, but not what we expected. We were given an accessible room, even though I had not booked that, and when we asked if it was possible to switch we were given a multitude of reasons why we shouldn’t. Upon check in, our first encounter with the staff member present felt strange. We were asked if we had stayed there previously, we hadn’t, we were asked how we got there, by cab, we were told when breakfast was served and given our room keys. What we were not told was that you needed to put the key in a slot to activate the lights in the room. We went back to the front desk to say that none of our lights worked, a staff member went and checked our room, and told us everything was fine with the lights, but no other information. We went back to our room and figured it out ourselves after a while. (This may be common in Europe but we had not encountered it yet on our travels) We could also hear everything the person/ people next door to us were doing (walking, moving stuff, etc.). The breakfast was very good and a great price, everything was clean. In the future it would be helpful for more information to be given to first time visitors.
