'I have to say, first up, the bed was the best I have ever slept in. The mattess, pillows...just wonderful. The room was immaculate. We were upgraded to a deluxe room. It was beautifully furnished. Not your standard hotel room. You can see the fittings and the flooring were all chosen to reflect the elegance of this former stately home. The restaurant, bar and garden were beautiful. 'Wat een mooie plek! Super uitzicht vanaf de kamer. Mooie luxe badkamer. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam.. en het eten was heerlijk!'

'The concept is an all included one. Therefore little choices to be made. The reception is good, the lodges show tear and wear. Illumination is not good, shower and sink are ready for a renovation. The most important thing that you miss is wifi access in the lodge. Certainly on a wet day! The swimming pools are great. One can not walk far without a guide, so plan this ahead. The food is OK as a buffet style can be.'

'This was a girls' trip, and since we didn’t have a car, Maritza’s location was absolutely perfect! The hotel is within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shopping, making everything so convenient. The daily breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day. The property is well-kept, and the rooms have been beautifully renovated. We’ll definitely be back for another Pura Vida girls trip!'

'This is a great villa, very stylish and very convenient to everything surrounding the area. Shelly is extremely friendly and very helpful with local advice and assistance. My wife and I were in Costa Rica for our anniversary and my birthday. The fishing tour Shelly suggested was outstanding. We definitely enjoyed Puerto Pirata Tiki Bar for cocktails and watching one of the prettiest sunsets we have ever seen, which we visited 3 times during our stay. Pura Vida.'

'This property was simple, yet perfect for convenience. Walking distance to a grocery store with everything a person would need.We biked, hiked, and swam almost everyday. Birds, lizards, monkeys, sloth, iguanas and all kinds of little creatures. Helen was an amazing host. Very easy to get ahold of anytime we needed.Book it! of little amazing creatures. '
