'I have to say, first up, the bed was the best I have ever slept in. The mattess, pillows...just wonderful. The room was immaculate. We were upgraded to a deluxe room. It was beautifully furnished. 'Wat een prachtige locatie; dichtbij het vliegveld en er is geen betere manier om je vakantie in Costa Rica te beginnen of te eindigen. In de hottub uitkijken over het dal van San Jose en daarna eten in het geweldige restaurant. De koffietour met een zeer kundige gids, is zeer aan te raden. En het uitstekende en vriendelijke personeel maken het helemaal af. Hier komen we zeker terug!'

'Service was outstanding, the suite was very nice and clean. Sofia at the front desk, Karin at the bar and Maria the waitress were all so very accommodating and just so friendly. I developed the stomach ache on the second day and everybody in the hotel seemed to know about it, asking me how I was feeling & wishing me well. The chef even made a chicken soup for me (no soups on menu) which was very tasty and super helpful for me to feel better. Definitely would return.'

'Everything about this property is wonderful. We cannot say enough about the hotel staff! Literally, EVERYTHING was great. We highly recommend this place. Take the little plane to the Limon airport and just have them set up your transportation. They'll have someone waiting for you. We had zero problems. Everything went as smooth as possible because of the Awa staff! We will return to the Caribbean coast of Punta Cana and most definitely stay at the Awa Beach Hotel again! I'd give them 10 stars...

'Het dorp is dichtbij, er is een strandje dichtbij. Als je daar geen zin in hebt, dan is de tuin rustig en er zijn twee zwembadjes met prima ligstoelen. Een enthousiaste eigenaar en een opera-zingende papagaai. '
