Featuring a tri-level terrace with elevated views of Pendine Bay this characterful cottage has been renovated with high-spec fittings throughout, keeping the charm of a beach retreat with all modern conveniences. Perfect for Summer days by the sea or cosy and comfortable for the chillier days of Autumn and Winter.

Rose Cottage, a four-bedroom, two bath+ cottage is nestled on the hillside of scenic Pendine only a short walk from the 7-mile stretch of Pendine Sands, famous for its historic land speed records. The beach is one of the few places where visitors are permitted to park directly on the sand during low tide (usually for a small fee). The firm sand makes it ideal for kite-buggies, kayaking and paddleboarding. The beachfront boasts a 500 metre long, traffic-free promenade with an Asian Fusion restaurant , an ice cream parlour and a beach shop. Although dogs are restricted from the main slipway during the summer months, they are welcome on other stretches of the beach. For the more adventurous types, Morfa Bay Adventure is right around the corner, offering coasteering, assault courses, high ropes, archery and many other activities.


Enter the property from the enclosed upper terrace into the light and airy, open-plan living/dining/kitchen, with a snug room off to the left.


Lounge/Dining/Kitchen Area


Comfortable seating with a large screen TV and log burner, there are additional comfy seats in the adjoining snug with another TV and an electric log-effect fire.

The kitchen area boasts an under-cabinet heating system for toasty toes in the morning, along with all modern conveniences including fridge/freezer, electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and Nespresso coffee pod machine. Adjoining the kitchen is a butlers pantry with bar seating for two and a drinks fridge.


Utility Room


The utility room, located off the butlers pantry, holds a washing machine and tumble dryer. You’ll also find storage for beach equipment and shoes as well as access to the private suntrap courtyard. Off the utility is one of the 3 additional loos with toilet and washbasin.

Head up the split staircase to the comfortable bedrooms on one side and bathrooms to the other.

Located off the utility room is a cosy private courtyard strung with lights with seating for 4 people, perfect for winding down after a busy day.

Triple Terrace


Parking for up to 3 cars with your own E.V. charger. The first level of the 3-tiered terrace boasts comfy outside seating for dining al fresco for up to 10 people, with sea views. Up another level takes you to the bubbling hot tub. The uppermost enclosed area features Adirondack chairs with elevated views and log storage. Wine and sunset anyone…?

Please note: Due to the steep stone steps to access the cottage, this property is not suitable for guests with mobility issues


Rose Cottage is centrally heated throughout and offers free WIFI.


The E.V. charger use is included for up to 3 overnight charges – monitored via an App by the owner.


One or two well-behaved dogs are welcome at Rose Cottage. If you are bringing your furry friends check-out these dog friendly beaches.


There is a £150.00 refundable good housekeeping/damage deposit required with this property.


Please note: That stag and hen parties are strictly not permitted at this property. Mixed group and same sex group bookings may be considered by prior application only and are subject to owner's approval and checks.

If pets are accepted (and the number of pets accepted) this will be displayed within the property description. No other pets are permitted in the property, this includes external areas of the property.

Terms and Conditions of Hire.

Bookings of all holiday accommodation whether made by telephone, e-mail, in person, in writing or over the internet are accepted by Puffin Cottage Holidays acting as the agent on behalf of the Owner. The contract to occupy the property is between you and the owner.

By making any booking with us, you confirm that you accept these terms and conditions and agree to comply with and be bound by them.

These booking terms and conditions include a number of defined terms as follows:

"Booking" means the legally binding reservation for use of the property, with a specified start and end date.
"Contract of Hire" The legally binding contract between the Hirer and the Owner
"Deposit" means a deposit of 20% of the total holiday accommodation cost (which includes any "extras" selected at the time of booking).
"Balance" means the balance of the Total Charges payable by you after payment of the Deposit as set out in paragraph 4.
"Website" means the booking website.
"Lead Hirer" means the person who has booked the accommodation.
"Guest" means you and each person staying in the property with you.
"Owner" means the owner of the Property you book which is the subject of the Contract of Hire. We do not own the properties on our website.
"Agent" means Puffin Cottage Holidays.
"Property" and "Properties" means the holiday property you book or enquire about through us.
"You" means the lead person making a booking through us.
When you make a booking through us you are confirming that you and every Hirer understands, agrees and accepts these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully as any breach may result in the Owner (or their representative) refusing to allow you and your guests to enter and stay at the property or requiring you and your guests to leave the property before the end of the holiday period without any compensation or refund.

1. Contract and Booking
We act as agents for the Owner. When you make a Booking through us the holiday let contract in respect of the Property is always between you and the Owner. As Agents we accept no responsibility for an injury or damage caused as a result of the Contract.

Bookings cannot be accepted from persons under 18 years of age.

The Lead Hirer must be one of the Guests staying at the property and shall not part with possession of the property or share it, except with other Guests named on the booking form.

The Properties are not intended to be reserved for the purposes of parties and group bookings, including for stag, hen dos and birthdays, may not be allowed unless explicitly agreed with the Owner. In these circumstances the Owner may impose special requirements (including the possible requirement for, but not limited to, an extra damage deposit payment)

No Bookings are confirmed until the Deposit (or Balance and Deposit if the holiday is less than 8 weeks away) is received and written confirmation of its receipt has been sent.

Once a booking is confirmed it cannot be changed by you, unless agreed by the Owner, or by us on the Owner's behalf. If we or the Owner agree to make requested changes to your booking (for example, amending the date or Hirer) you will be required to pay £25 amendment fee per change.

2. Booking Fees
A booking fee of £24.00 is payable when making a booking. This is included in the displayed price of the holiday.

3. Deposits and Balance Payments
Bookings made within 8 weeks of your holiday date must be paid for in full at the time of booking. For a booking made more than 8 weeks before your holiday a deposit of 20% of the total due will be paid when booking to secure the booking. The balance will be paid 8 weeks prior to your holiday. If you make a booking within 8 weeks of the start of the holiday you will be required to pay for the holiday in full at the time of booking to secure the booking. In the event that the balance payment is not received by the required date, Puffin Cottage Holidays reserves the right (on behalf of the Owner) to cancel the booking and will be under no obligation to refund any deposits previously paid.

The booking fee and Deposit are non-refundable unless we are unable to accept the booking on behalf of the Owner, or the Property is unavailable at the time of the holiday

4. Damage Deposits
Some properties may require damage deposits for all bookings made. If this is required, it will be recorded in the Property Description. Any damage deposit will be due along with the final balance payment, 8 weeks prior to your holiday, or, where the booking is made within 8 weeks of your holiday, the damage deposit must be paid in full at the time of booking. The damage deposit may be held by Puffin Cottage Holidays on behalf of the Owner. Whilst we will use our reasonable endeavours to liaise between the Owner and the lead Hirer, any disputed claims must be settled between the Owner and the lead Hirer and Puffi
