'A small, nicely run hotel. We had a room with a balcony looking out over the ocean and left our door open at night so we could hear the ocean. Lovely! Room was very clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that because the property is an older one, I could hear my neighbors next door. They had loud kids!!! That said, they were quiet by 11:00 pm. 'We stayed at the Sands Ocean Club Resort from 5/9-5/11. Had a late check-in and appreciated the 24/7 staffing at the front desk. Our night was quickly upset by waking up around 4am to bedbugs in room 1601. They bit my partner and left welts on his arm for the weekend, which was not pleasant. The hotel moved us to a different room for the weekend where we had no other issues. We are waiting to hear if our night with the bedbugs will be comped.
