'It is always a pleasure staying at Lakeside. The lake was lovely and we were able to sneak a campfire in between the rain storms. Make sure to read the notes that Ritchie sends your way as it spells out exactly what you need to bring - trash bags, shampoo, etc. On VRBO, the pet fee was not very clear. It read as 25 per pet not per night, so that was a surprise as we stayed 2 nights. That may be because I booked via mobile, though, and it did not show correctly. I was unable to add a pet to my...

'The property is very remote, tucked into the neighborhood. Unfortunately, there was no direct access to the lake. The cabin was simple and rustic. Since we were just staying overnight, it worked out very good for us.We had breakfast at the local restaurant where we were seated on the back porch overlooking the lake. The food was excellent and a great start to the day.'

'The dishwasher didn’t work, I tried to notify our contact, but I wasn’t able to get ahold of them. There is a laundry facility that shares the driveway, and sometimes their trucks block you in. We did enjoy our stay.'

'The fridge froze everything solid. There was no broom to sweep the dirt out of the cabin. But the location was beautiful. The cabin was beautiful and it was extremely relaxing. We didnt have no wood for the burn pit which the add on line saud it was provided. I would stsy again but i would definitely ask for a broom and then make sure the fridge worked properly. '

'Beach front cabin could not be beat for location and the cabin was clean and a great home base for all things Mackinaw city within walking distance, including the ferry to Mackinac Island. Beach is rocky in places, so be sure to bring some good water shoes!
