'Prachtige locatie. Hele ruime, schone en mooi ingerichte kamer. De hele accommodatie is ingericht met oog voor detail. De gastvrouw is heel vriendelijk. De omgeving is erg rustig. We vonden het fijn dat we in de avond een hapje konden eten. '

Habitación sin lujos, limpia. Baño normal, limpio, y bañera un poco desconchada. Esta bien para comer/cenar en el lugar, comida preparada, porque dispone de frigorífico, microondas, máquina de café y hervidor de agua para infusiones, para clientes. '

'I liked the kind people, the breakfast, the location. The restaurants in the surrounding were a little bit less attractive. The people of the cafetaria at the supermarket were friendly and helped us in English, but the food choice could be better in the village. Especially English speaking help'

'Iets gedateerd appartement. Wij hadden geen balkon, wisten we, en daardoor weinig daglicht en uitzicht. Bedden en badkamer prima. Jacuzzi in woonkamer voor mij niet nodig. Leuk oud dorpje, vriendelijke mensen, wij waren met de auto tip. Bezoek de vuurtoren van Ajo'

'Iván, el dueño, no puede ser más profesional y cercano. Nos ayudó en todo, nos dio todas las indicaciones del mindo e hizo de nuestra estancia un plus!! El sitio es precioso y está cerca de "todo" para una primera toma de contacto con Cantabria, que era nuestro caso. Nuestra habitación tenía una cocinita bien equipada con todo ( cafetera, tostadora..) y era bastante amplia para dos adultos y dos niños. Un sitio muy limpio y agradable. Se la recomendaría a cualquiera que me preguntase y...

'Todo muy limpio, tenía un olor agradable, el área de la cocina y comedor amplia, con lo necesario para prepararte un cafe o infusiones, incluso traer comida de fuera y usar los utensilios de la cocina, también había juegos de mesa muy chulos para jugar en familia, la piscina limpia, me ha encantado'

'The hotel was amazing. Very nice and welcoming reception. Loved the old building (30 years). Perfect having a restaurant/bar just across the way. Delicious food and the chef was very nice and he came out to check if we wanted everything we ordered, as he was concerned we might have ordered too much Breakfast at the hotel was plentiful and good. 'What a lovely, unexpected surprise the Rio Ason was. First and foremost, the staff are amazing. From arrival Anna and rest of the team were so helpful, and genuinely friendly and happy to chat. The hotel itself is great - clean, quiet and modern, good sized room, secure off street parking, and a fantastic breakfast buffet. Ramales itself is a great little local town too, lots of lovely walks in the surrounding hills (and caves!), and a huge selection of local bars for refreshment...
