'River’s Bend was one of our favorite western VA cabin stays to date. Its location is unique - remote enough for dark skies and the sounds of wildlife, with the thrill of the train when it makes its way through the tunnel under the property. 'The cabin was very quiet, just what we came for during our sisters' weekend getaway as a meeting place between North Carolina and Ohio. It was very clean (that's important and easily critiqued for me). The photos don't do the nice cabin justice. It's new, and still has a new smell as of October 2025.
