The hotel is an old mansion, restored to a degree and turned into a hotel. They did a fine job but don’t expect everything to be crisp and sharp, it’s an old, historic building. Although I had no problem, the upper rooms may be preferable. The two rooms on the first floor are just feet away from the front desk...

There was some construction nearby during our stay, and the windows are quite thin, so outside noise and sounds from other guests carry easily.
The interior stairs are steep and could be challenging for anyone with mobility issues. I traveled with my elderly parents, and while they managed, it was definitely not...
