'My house got the house to celebrate my 66th birthday. He invited our daughter & her yorkie poodle, 2 of my best friends with their husbands. The guys went fishing but just spent time at the lake, the boaters were out in the water so it wasn’t a good time to fish from the docks.'

'Property was as described. Host was able to be contacted for any issues that arose. The hosts also graciously provide k-cup coffee and kindling for the riverside fire pit. The area is nicely remote enough to be quiet but close enough that a 20 min ride gets you most anything you’d need. One word of advice is that if you plan on a having a fire over a few nights time then it might be better to bring your own wood or ask the host for a contact for wood delivery. You will spend a small fortune if...

'We love this place. We stayed on the same weekend last year, and decided to come back. This year, the weather was wonderful. We cooked at the cabin, played in the creek, and made s'mores in the fire pit. The kitchen is well equipped, beds comfortable, and seating in the living area is cozy. The location is superb...so close to downtown Cashiers but you feel you are isolated. We enjoyed viewing several waterfalls nearby. I highly recommend this property! We hope to return again!'

'This house is a little hidden gem ! Views were fantastic coffee in the morning looking at the beautiful mountains on the back porch which one is screeed one not fire place every thing you need is there! Even had cookies, sank bars and coffee. Everything is new and clean'
