'Beautifully restored old hotel. We were very impressed with the front office worker, who was very kind, told us a little about the local area, and helped us find a luggage trolley. I can't remember her name, but she was working the evening of July 1. The hotel is obviously old, but has been updated with modern conveniences. Would be nice to have more usb outlets, and a breakfast option, but maybe there isn't space for that. The parking was pretty tight, especially near the front entrance. ...

'Our stay was top notch. The hotel has so much character and charm. The restaurants were excellent and the service top notch. The biggest plus for us was how accommodating the staff was and how happy they seemed to be in their work. It speaks to a great team and first class management. Congratulations on a great product. 'Everything was great with our stay except the first night (Thursday) was karaoke night in the pub from 9pm until close, and our room was right above the pub. We were warned going in that it can be noisy, so we weren’t surprised. At least the one singer sounded a lot like Elvis! The other two nights were much quieter. Great location. Huge room.'
