Waterfront Home op Laguna de Apoyo met Infinity Pool

Gelegen in het nationale natuurreservaat van Laguna de Apoyo. Dit prachtige huis aan het meer ligt op slechts 200 meter van Norome Resort / Villas @ Apoyo (op een verharde rijbaan) en is gebouwd volgens de Amerikaanse normen. Ontspan in het overloopzwembad terwijl u geniet van het uitzicht op de slapende vulkaan Mambacho of neem een duik in het meer, waar u in de buurt warme thermiek vindt. Als u meer activiteit verkiest, kunt u Hobie Cats en kajaks huren in het nabijgelegen resort. Als een extra optie kunnen we on-site massage regelen in de rustige privé-patio buiten, met golven aan de oever van het meer als achtergrond. Privéles Spaans op het terrein kan worden geregeld door een lokale professionele instructeur en familievriend. Dit is echt een privé-vakantieoase met meer dan een hectare professioneel aangelegd terrein met natuurlijke flora, gazon en tuinen! Casa de Sol biedt u ultieme privacy en ontspanning ... Gemakkelijke toegang via gemetselde wegen, Gated entry met 24-uurs beveiliging.

Boven is een master suite met een kingsize bed, aangepaste bad voor twee met regendruppel douche. De andere 4 slaapkamers zijn "Jack & Jill" -configuraties (2 slaapkamers met bad in het midden). Alle slaapkamers hebben een eigen balkon, airconditioning en warm water. Het huis bestaat uit badhanddoeken, zeep, warm water en beddengoed van hoge kwaliteit.

Beneden is er een moderne keuken met gasfornuis en oven, eiland hardhout, koelkast / vriezer, waterkoeler en alle keukengerei. Ook voor het koken is een grote gasgrill buiten. De grote aangepaste eettafel met stoelen biedt gemakkelijk plaats aan 10-12 personen. Er is een ½ bad in de woonkamer en ½ bad bij het zwembad.

Dagelijkse schoonmaakservice is inbegrepen met optionele wasservice, persoonlijke kok en privélessen Spaans beschikbaar op uw verzoek. Onze tweetalige property manager is ter plaatse om u te helpen met andere details om een fantastische ervaring te garanderen. Ter voorbereiding op uw bezoek kunnen wij u helpen met een kaart en rij-instructies, huurauto, auto / busje en chauffeur, gids, dagwandeltochten, excursies in de buitenlucht en andere begeleiding die u nodig heeft.

On 2nd to last day power went out, maintenance crew turned on gasoline powered generator located directly in front of the house, pungent fumes permeated the entire house for over one hour we had to step out, tried to book rooms in city near by but were unavailable as it was late 8-9 pm. we contacted owner who didn't reply, she stated she was sleeping and that the gasoline fumes were only for one hour. Owner also concluded fumes were intensified because I am pregnant. Next day we had my in laws over for coffee, owner wanted to run tests on the generator with engineer to test the generator. we informed her we had in laws with respiratory illness ( COPD) my 90 y.o grandma also very sensitive. We did not wish to experience the stench of gasoline again, (even for "one hour"). My advice to owner is to have the property ready and prepared. gasoline fumes at any length of time for pregnant or non pregnant human beings is never safe and to downplay the situation by using my pregnancy is completely unacceptable and inhumane. We had to check out early as electricity could not be guaranteed. If you decide to book with this property be sure to check on generator. Other issues which make you feel like an inconvenience: limited towels, poor cleaning schedule, owner stated daily cleaning then said it was only 5 days, ,(stated to read the contract)but even then missed 3 days cleaning, also harassed us about A/c use. owner stated it is expensive to pay electric bill.

We stayed 8 days and will definitely return. Beautiful pool, house, property, lagoon for swimming, and surrounded by natural beauty. We met the owners twice and they were very friendly. They even had an anniversary cake delivered for my wife’s sister’s anniversary mid week. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We must have spent 3 hours EVERY day in that pool :-) Absolutely wonderful experience!

Stay Away from this property!! First and foremost, the owner of this property does NOT value human life., With emphasis on children. The 1st day we arrived my 1 & 3 year old’s got extremely sick with 104 fevers and were throwing up real bad! The following morning my little boys were barely able to stand! We had to rush them to the nearest hospital. Which was over an hour away!! In fact, the property owner herself recommended this specific hospital, which we ended up having to stay with family near the hospital as our children were extremely sick and we were not sure if we had to fly out of the country to go back home. The owner TAMARA told us specifically that she would refund us for the days we did not stay on her property and that she would find someone else to rent it for those days. However, now she is refusing to give us our money back and scammed us for over $2,000!! In addition, this home is not child proof. It’s filled with huge roaches, mosquitoes, termites, tarantulas, mice, geckos, ants and we we’re warned about possible serpents. There’s no window coverings in bathroom, showers or downstairs! No food nearby and the road is very dangerous, windy hills through the jungle and pitch black by 5pm! The driveway is ridiculously steep and has sharp curves that can cause you to fall off the cliff going down into the home. There’s workers lurching around the entire property all day and night. All men which made my daughters uneasy when showering. TRUST ME NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!

Words can't describe the beauty of this place. The location is one of a kind setting on the shores of quator lake. From this location you can go to many other areas of interest in Nicaragua. The security staff here was friendly and very attentive. They did our laundry, Vegeta scrub, and clean her car and went and got us gas we couldn't be happier.

We had a party of 10. No complaints, property was amazing, breathtaking views and wonderful staff. Pool was great! We used the kayaks and went for a swim in the lagoon, staff was very helpful during the stay. Recommend 4x4 vehicles only as it can be a climb just getting out of the area and the man charging to get into the area-he charges each time you leave and come back but he is not tied to the property at all just an FYI. Wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely come back.

The house was beautiful, three of the four rooms with an amazing view. It was very quiet and peaceful. There were many areas to spend time together as a group. there are lots of stairs though so be prepared to have some exercise. When the power went out, which can happen, there was a backup generator. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook. It surpassed our expectations. We will definitely visit again.

I planned A vacation with my family on August 14 till the 21st. Since our arrival the host Kenia and staff Made my family and myself welcomed. Kenya was so wonderful and she took her time to explain and walk us through the whole house. The house is breathtaking and it was so clean. All I can say is that I would definitely and most likely referring this place to any family and friends that I have to let them know that they would enjoy their time in this beautiful place. Casa del sol was a relaxing and peaceful place to wake up in the morning. I could just keep going on how my experience was in such a beautiful y. Our party consisted of nine people, including four adults and five children. We stayed for two weeks and had an amazing time. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with kindness and respect. We mostly spend our time at the pool and at night in the kitchen cooking. The pool was perfect for our boys. The The staff was professional and extremely helpful. The beds and rooms were comfortable and pleasant. It was hot, and the air conditioning in the bedrooms at night was an excellent relief. The house does need some updates, but nothing that would keep you from having a great time. The housekeeper was absolutely amazing. She was a big part of our enjoyment of our stay. Everything was clean daily. At night, security would make his rounds, which, of course, made us feel safe. The current staff that is in place was the key to a great experience. We had several requests, and every single one was met. We made memories that will last us a lifetime. We will definitely be staying here again. Our only mistake was not staying longer!

In the last years, we have rented accommodations in Rivas, Ometepe, SAN Juan del Sur and Montelimar however, none of them come even close to this property, the owners attention to details and the people that take care of the property and the guest. The cleanest property by far. We also had the good fortune of having Rita cook our meals( extra). Not only was the food delicious but it gave us the opportunity to enjoy our time at “ Casa del Sol” without worrying about the preparation of our meals. Lastly, we all enjoyed our stay so much that we recommend this place 100%

While the view was stunning and the onsite staff were courteous and helpful, that was the extent of our positive experience at this property. There is a small house on the property next to the pool that is under construction. There was a large crew of workers with construction going on all day long. We were uncomfortable to use the pool and our young children couldn't nap with all the noise. When we asked the owner about it, she acted like it was the house next door when it is clearly on the same property and only steps away from the pool. The main house was infested with termites and ants, the owner also acted like this was to be expected "because it's Nicaragua and in a reserve". We stay in Nicaragua often, and no, it is not expected that you pay to stay in a house where you are sleeping with termites in your bed because you are in a reserve in Nicaragua. This is completely unacceptable for a house we paid for and cannot use the beds. The property owner offered to come fumigate the house with my 3 infants sleeping inside. After a night with termites in the beds, we decided to pack up and leave. Upon trying to leave, because it was before our planned check out date, we were held hostage. The security guard refused to let us leave and held my whole family on the steep inclined driveway saying we couldn't go until the property manager came to look around and make sure we didnt steal anything. I never felt so insulted, unsafe, and unclean in a place where I paid to be a guest

Beautiful w/beautiful view! Not kid or older people friendly, inside &outside stairs mainly. Pool is NOT for children/some adults. The many stairs to the public lake are rocky as the entry into the lake! No beach! Constant workers around the house. The casa directly in view of master bedroom has workers. Guard shack is in view of the master bathroom. We all felt exposed! Kept curtains upstairs closed which defeated, the view! As stated in a 2023 review, the staff definitely watches you! Its not feeling of privacy but monitoring! Also, a dog that poops in the yard. The owner: very responsive. Gave great suggestions. BUT when character/ethics was to be shown, she was HORRIBLE! My 7y/o wet the bed. Tamera emailed she wouldn't charge me. She understood it was an accident. There were other things (glass, vase, etc) we did break. throughout the 8 days she email me let me know what we broke & the price! No problem! The white couch ($54 charge) I disagreed! Morning of departure, I Zelled her $204 for the agreed damage! She put a dispute into VRBO for over $100 Double the cost of the couch! She wanted the cleaning of the mattress and other damaged items. I showed VRBO AND MY BANK the emails of her saying she would not charge for the mattress AND the 2 different stories she told me(all email) how the damage to the couch was done! Her $100+ was declined! I have a good reputation with VRBO & hosts! Many stays & NEVER this experience! Honesty is not her best policy!!!!!

The place was incredible beautiful! The space to host for my family to come and visit was just perfect ! One thing / advise: when you check in, please count every single cup, utensils, and plates, because if there is one missing @ checkout, they will charge you for it. They charge you $10 for the additional people coming to stay with you during the day, not sure if that’s a thing or what, but I paid extra. You need a 4X4 vehicle, so please no matter where you rent, make sure you have your right vehicle! Other than that, the house is very beautiful! And we all loved it !

We spent the weekend at Tamara's place with a big group consisting of 3 families. There was something for everyone and so many places to hang out and relax. The pictures don't do it justice. Tamara was a very attentive host, and she also had a property manager who was available when we needed. We are looking forward to coming back again. I would highly recommend staying here.

It was a wonderful vacation with all the R&R you will ever need. The people take pride in caring for the house just as they should since it was amazing and a lot of work went into making it so. It has everything you will need. The staff are wonderful and accommodating. Let's not forget the Lagoon and the closeness to it was breathtaking. Having it all at our fingertips, including a swimming pool with children's floaties was an added touch. I highly recommend it.

Thank you to Tamara and all the staff for another restful visit at Casa de Sol. Take a look at the photos, that's exactly what you'll see. We were four adults, ages mid 40's to 60's. So many places to be alone or together. Very quiet and peaceful. The house and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. I don't know when, but we'll be back!

I've lived in Nicaragua for several years and was lucky enough to get invited to stay here. My family and i we're amazed that the description of the property matched its profile. The house is lovely and spacious. The bedrooms are comfortable and have AC, the dining room and kitchen include everything you need to cook. The side patio includes comfortable a sofa, chairs, table, and hammocks. The house overlooks laguna de apoyo, has a great pool area, and hotsprings!! Book this house!

Considero que si alquilas un lugar para tus vacaciones debes estar a gusto y sentirte como en casa, en este caso no lo fue en absoluto, todo el momento tuve la sensación de que me prestaban la casa y me vigilaban. La casa la alquilé para un evento, tuve que pagar ademas del alquiler un precio por cada invitado para que pueda entrar por unas horas a la propiedad este precio no se me dijo cuando se contacto telefónicamente previo a la reserva, pero el error fue mio por no leer el contrato ya que lo indica. Dicho contrato lo envian posteriormente a formalizar la reserva, no antes. Recomiendo leer detenidamente el contrato porque las condiciones no estan en la página de vrbo antes de contratar y las exigencias o reglas son muchas. Por ejemplo el uso del aire acondicionado. También cuando les entreguen la casa verificar el estado de todo ya que al salir revisan y cuentan uno a uno cada utensilio de cocina, vasos, toallas, etc. por otro lado el acceso a la casa es muy malo, escaleras incomodas y poco iluminadas para acceder desde la entrada hasta la propiedad. En mi evento habia gente mayor y otros con problemas en la rofilla y fue una odisea total bajar a la casa. Solo pueden acceder vehiculos de tracción 4x4. Para los proveedores también fue muy complicado acceder, tuvieron que bajar todo cargando. La casa es hermosa, pero lo mejor es la vista y esta vista la teneis desde cualquiera de los muchos hoteles de la zona que por menos dinero podeis estar mejor y sentiros como en casa.

The house and property are kept immaculately clean. Staff are kind and go out of their way to accommodate your needs and requests. The steps down and up from the house and driveway could be an issue for anyone with mobility challenges. For our group of four adults we found the driveway to be an easier walk. And we found it worth every step! Thank you for allowing us to be your guests!

We have stayed at Casa Sol before and think it’s amazing! Pool and lake view is gorgeous and outdoor space so relaxing. Home is spacious and comfortable and more than enough room for our family and friends. Quiet and peaceful but not too far from restaurants and activities. Cannot wait to go back and spend more time!!

This home had everything you can think of views, comfort, style and so much beautiful nature. Staff was there to greet us and where all very nice and kind through out our stay. Beds were super comfortable, pool was amazing and deck / backyard area was so great. Highly recommend this beuatifully situated and maintained home.

Our family of 5 and my brother-in-law’s family of 5 stayed here and had a great time. Children ranged in age from 2 to 15. Mostly, we lived in and by the pool and also enjoyed the lake, swimming as well as using the kayaks. The beds were comfortable. It was hot and the air conditioning in the bedrooms at night was a nice relief. The housekeeper and cook were both very friendly and the food was amazing. We will definitely be staying here again.

Wonderful home right on the lake with beautiful infinity pool. Very peaceful and quiet, wonderful helpful staff. Room for large family.
