'What a hidden gem. Beautiful cabins with hammocks, amazing views, great food and a very nice staff. Not too crowded. I stayed 3 nights and wish i could have stayed longer. Highly recommended'

'We stayed 8 days and will definitely return. Beautiful pool, house, property, lagoon for swimming, and surrounded by natural beauty. We met the owners twice and they were very friendly. They even had an anniversary cake delivered for my wife’s sister’s anniversary mid week. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We must have spent 3 hours EVERY day in that pool :-) Absolutely wonderful experience!'

'This self-acclaimed hotel closed a year ago in a totally run-down state. Some four months ago it was bought by a new (US citizen) owner who is trying to rebuild the place. Currently there is one room that looks quite okay, however there is no reception, no personnel apart from a local housekeeper. The problem starts with the entrance. 'Nice central place in Masaya. Easy to walk around the town, even safely at night. Only one staff member speaks English, but they are all very kind and will try to help as best they can. '

'Everything we needed. A lot of room. Two kitchens became handy. There were eight of us and we all had our own bed and rooms with more left over. 'The place is welcoming and makes you feel at home. Amenities are fine, speedy WiFi, warm water. Buy your food in the small pulperias and have a chat with the local people, there is no supermarket in Catarina. I would easily spend a couple of weeks there. 'Beautiful open space home View is incredible. You can hear the birds chirping. No television so be prepared to pass the night relaxing in the open air living room reading a book or talking . Good restaurant near by delivers food. Definitely recommend ! '
