'It is a great economic option. The staff give tips and travel advice. I was able to see different parts of Nicaragua and then return to Managua. Go straight to the Nicaragua Guesthouse and use Indrive or a similar service to get there. It is an excellent place for solo travellers, couples, or small families.'

I had to pay $30 US extra for them to send me two blocks south from Villalobos Hotel to Hostel Nica Bliss. It was really good staying there. 'Do not stay at this hotel. When I arrived, they did not have my reservation, but they let me in anyway. The room they gave me had ants crawling all over the bed. They made a half-hearted attempt to spray the floor, but they ran out of bug spray. I told them I would make it work because it was almost midnight and I had just arrived from the US.
