'It’s right on the Lake and there’s a boat ramp right next to the property. It was the perfect size for us and had all we needed. We suggest you get your supplies on the way out!It’s a drive to anywhere. We were there for Mammoth National Park, it’s a shorter drive if the ferry is open. We couldn’t figure out the tv’s though, and the outside of the property is a bit of a mess, but overall we enjoyed our stay. '

'Perfect place for an escape from the city. Love the location, it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere but we were actually a short drive from town. Beautiful view of the sunset from the back porch, we saw tons of fireflies, and enjoyed making a fire in the fire pit! We were a party of 8 and we had so much space, plenty of beds and tons of seating!'

'We were traveling for a really important family event and I couldn't believe I found a house only a few mins from our loved ones homes! The house was exactly as pictured and has a lovely black maple in the front yard. Everything inside was perfect and clean, so comfortable!! It really was such a relief to crash somewhere nice after being awake 24 hours and driving forever. There is also a small park down the street that was lovely, and plenty of cafes around! 'We had our 3 daughters and my parents with us for this trip and the house was so spacious I never felt like 7 of us were on top of each other. The neighborhood was full of really friendly people and we were reasonably close to all sorts of fun things. The grocery store was really easy to get to, there were a million dollar general stores nearby if we just needed something simple like a bag of ice, and despite the lake levels being higher than usual my girls loved playing in the water. 'Rental was very clean and well stocked with whatever you'd need for your trip. Location was close to everything and it had lots of games and things to do as well. Only issue would be that the listing stated 2 queen beds but the beds were definitely full sized beds.'

'Lovely stay at a thoughtfully nammed property. I appreciated staying in a private, unique rental instead of a hotel chain full of noisy kids. The Hickory and Bee property was a quiet, comfortable place to unwind. I never slept better away from home!'
