'My husband and I had a wonderful time and experience at Casa D'Amares! This villa has exceeded our expectations and we definitely would love to come back again. The rooms, were spacious and clean. The AC unit was great! The staff are super friendly, respectful and welcoming. Isabella was so sweet and kind when she gave us the tour around the villa and helped us answer any questions we had. The pool and the view are breath taking! They have a soccer field and ping pong table, the bar/restaurant...

'Just one word: fantastic!'

'O lugar é surpreendente! Vista de tirar o fôlego, quarto impecável, o Jorge foi muito solícito. Nao pretendia voltar ao Douro, mas agora vou repensar. Parabéns!!'

'Excellent location with parking as well'

'The staff was very friendly, and both the property and my room were clean. The location was convenient to the center of town, and street parking was easy to find. I especially appreciated the magazines in different languages provided in the room, as I love to read at night and had forgotten to bring my own. The bed was also very comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep.'

Re. this one, the owners conveniently forgot to mention that there is a COMMON bathroom for all the bedrooms on the floor (one bathroom for seven rooms on the floor where I stayed). Since toilets are within the same space as the showers, you can imagine what problems to expect. Had I been clearly informed about common bathroom I would have never...
