'Geeta was a wonderful host. She was kind and cared about our comfort. We took our dog and there are places to walk in the back of the property where it is safe and off the highway. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are charming, and the breakfast is one of the best of its kind: the owner bakes a range of delicious cakes each morning. If you plan on visiting Yosemite or the Sequoia trees in the Calaveras grove nearby, or, in fact, Sonora and Gold Country, the Gunn House is by far the best choice.'
