'This was a fun, unique overnight site. The caboose was roomier than expected and very comfortable. It's design and decor were on point in keeping with a train line theme. Although quite compact, the kitchenette was well stocked. Our host had left gift cards for a breakfast site, car wash and access to the country club. The most memorable part, you ask? 'We stayed in a room on the first floor for 4 nights. The room was just one away from the pool, so I don’t know if somehow that was causing the humidity…but our room was humid to the point the sheets felt damp. The bathroom had mold in the corners and the non-slip area was dirty in the handicap bathroom. There were dust bunnies in the corners of the room. And the hallway had not been vacuumed the entire time we were there despite it being visibly dirty with chunks of stuff. Would not stay here...

'The staff is great, however, the hotel is lacking, cleanliness and functionality. I stayed there from Friday to Sunday. The room had dead bugs all over the place, the bathtub would not drain when you took a shower so whenever you took a shower, is that to almost the top of the tub, the toilet barely flushed, the the door didn’t shut all the way, and the lock was partially broken and loose. 'This place was clean and well kept. The bathroom in the room was our biggest issue. We only had one towel upon arrival. The lady at the front desk acted like she didn’t believe us when we asked for more. The toilet and sink looked like they came out of a preschool bathroom. Extremely short . I don’t have very long legs and the toilet was below my knees! The pool area was nice but poorly lit in the evening. It closes at 9pm which seems a bit early being that it’s indoors.
